Tickets # 332, # 333 & # 334 - Incident involving SLR Corey & BrushyPancake93

Verdict: No penalty removal, Warning to BrushyPancake93 for overtaking under yellow flags

Detail: There are 3 tickets that were submitted for one move so going to summarise this all in one - the stewards decided that the penalty was not to be removed from Corey as there was enough racing room given by Pancake. It was agreed that Corey initiated the incident by moving under braking, making it harder for Pancake to complete the move and so there was slight contact, but was not classed as a push-to-pass. Then there was the review on the yellow flags, and as the car they were approaching was a lapped, disconnected car, the stewards decided a warning was fair here. As if this was for a spinner ahead then this was a clear pen, but in this case it was just a car pulling over in a safe manner. However it is noted as a warning as if this was in a different case and Brushy still completed the move, then a penalty would have been applied.

Ticket # 331 - Lap 17 incident involving GoldenEggFryer & Sean Matts

Verdict: 5s + 1LP to Sean Matts

Detail: The stewards agreed that Sean judged his braking poorly here, and this was a very dangerous manoeuvre that would have been much worse if the game did not ghost his car.

That's that for this weekend in Austin, and thanks to all that raced this weekend. Congratulations are in order however, as we have 2 new Driver's Champions! On Friday Night BRT Haze won the Div 2 race and so wins the Division 2 Driver's Championship, so a big well done to Haze on winning the title. This was her 7th Season in SLR, with 81 races so far, finally taking her first driver's title. Well Done!

Also well done to Petronas34, who confirmed the Division 3 Driver's Championship on Saturday Night with a composed performance after the late Safety Car to take victory and fastest lap. This is his second Driver's title in SLR after taking the Season 9 Division 4 Championship, so on his return season he backed it up with a strong Season throughout. Hopefully he'll stick around longer on Friday nights next season, we look forward to see how he gets on!

So next up is our Season 13 finale as we head south to São Paulo for the Brazilian Grand Prix. Although all other than 1 title has been won, we're still expecting a great turn out and a great weekend of racing to celebrate what has been a strong season. F2 also have their finale in Abu Dhabi on Thursday so make sure to check that out. But here's what can happen next week in Brazil...

... raceroller22 (4th) will reach 1400 total SLRF1 points if they score 9 points.

... SLR Corey (7th) will reach 1200 total SLRF1 points if they score 14 points.

... UKBeastAssassin (8th) will reach 1100 total SLRF1 points if they score 2 points.

... Drastikblaze (13th) will reach 900 total SLRF1 points if they score 17 points.

... TeH Punisher946 (63rd) will reach 500 total SLRF1 points if they score 17 points.

... LSJ Rundle (107th) will reach 300 total SLRF1 points if they score 22 points.

See you in Brazil!
