Title Protagonists come to blows at Portugal! F2 Round 9

Welcome back to round 9 of the 10th Season of SLR Formula 2, and we were back at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão, Portugal! What was a very quiet and tight couple of races became quite chaotic after the chequered flag, as the top 2 in the championship had a rather feisty battle on the final lap of the Feature Race, meaning that raceroller22 was there to seize the opportunity and is now right with them in the standings. Next up is the final double round of the season with both Australia and China on the cards, but for now, here is the classification from Portugal!

Lap 19 - Feature

Verdict: in 4 parts

Part 1 - T1

SLR Medal makes a unnecessary and unsportsmanlike behaviour movement right going towards T1 causing damage to Corey front wing

Verdict: 5 Second and 2 LP to SLR Medal2533 unsportsmanlike behaviour and causing damage.

Part 2 - T3

Corey and medal come together again after Corey has gone for a retaliating divebomb back at medal for his previous movement.

Verdict: 3 second and 1 Lp to SLR Corey for ambitious divebomb

Part 3 - Hairpin T5

SLR Corey has again gone for a divebomb this time forcing a move at the apex from a good distance back and costing SLR Medal a position to the car behind.

Verdict: 5 second and 1 Lp to SLR Corey for divebomb and unsportsmanlike behaviour

Part 4 - T8

SLR Medal has sent it from a car back on the uphill corner and left his car in a position to spin SLR Corey this is a move that was never going to work very lucky to not have taken another car out in the process of a retaliation move.

Verdict: 10 second and 3 Lp to SLR Medal2533 causing a collision.
