Round 17 takes us to the Circuit of the Americas, USA. A track with so much character, a track that is loved by many now, is such an enjoyable race for most, hard on tyres make the race a very strategic battle, and with it being tricky to follow this race should be a good one to watch. Snypz today could clinch the title by outscoring Corey by 9 points and outscoring Midzy by 18 points, it could be a tall order for him but something that could happen today so all the pressure on the Alfa Romeo Driver.
Qualifying this time round went to JagerUK, an occasional reserve driver in McKeon, a very very quick driver, getting pole position with his banker lap time and ego retiring, but still impressive nonetheless. Second place was Snypz SB. A really good qualifying from the most likely champion to be, this result will definitely help him to get the result he needs to win this thing, and with him seeming very strong, he definitely seems to have what it takes to win tonight. Rounding off the top 3 was Adzzz37 x, another very fast reserve driver who drives here sporadically, setting a very good time, but he may know he has more in his locker, meaning we could see some more pace from him in the race so he may be able to challenge the top 2 in the race here.
The race this time out the win would go to SLR Corey, after the stewards had a lot of work on their hands, in the end, Corey claimed the win after Adz got a 5-second penalty for spinning Midzy. A good race and another win for Corey, who is able to keep the championship going for another round, but showing great pace today he could be able to keep it going enough that, who knows he could keep on fighting till the end but the gap is very big. Second place in the end was drast1k bLazE. A driver who has clearly been working hard on his pace, finds a great result for himself after all the work he has done, gaining from all of the penalties that were given to the drivers around him is impressive and certainly a result to be happy about. Rounding off the top 3 was Adzzz37 x, A good race from him even with the penalty he got in the stewarding, but 3rd is still good, fought for the race the entire way and only fell just short because of the penalty.
A race full of strategy and many incidents during the race, it was a good watch for all involved, and with the championship still up for grabs, it will be a fascinating watch to see how this championship will end. Next time out will be another race in the States and it will be a first-time visit to Las Vegas. A new track in many senses of the word, it will be very interesting to see how it goes a lot of corners need a bit of downforce but with the 1.9km straight down the Vegas Strip, the drivers will need a lot of speed to be able to keep up with those ahead. Reason: Crispy misses his braking and rather than taking the outside where there are no cars, goes up the inside spinning Snypz.

Reason: Medal is squeezed by both and Blaze doesn’t know Ham is up the inside of the pair of them.

Reason: Midzy ahead into the penultimate corner and Adzz goes into the back of him and sends him round.

Reason: Raceroller dives down the inside of medal and tags him causing them both to spin

Reason: This was just a cluster of everyone being reckless and making it 5 wide going into 1 corner and no one wants to back out and unfortunately someone was bound to be spun or hit.

Going into Turn 12, JMC hits the rear of Owen’s car and pushes him off the track. He proceeds to take the position off of Owen and doesn’t give it back when he should.
FRL Kirito vs Active JMC - NFA
We feel that JMC has left enough room for Kirito to go side by side through the next turn and that Kirito has understeered into the side of Kirito rather than JMC turning in aggressively on Kirito.
UKBeastAssassin vs Active JMC - 3s and 1LP to Active JMC for causing a collision.
Going into the penultimate corner JMC taps the rear of Beast’s car causing him to lose time and allow JMC to pull alongside. This penalty is not as severe because we believe there isn’t as much in the later part of the move once both cars are alongside.
NOTE TO ALL DRIVERS - As we know there is a championship fight going on and we are going into the last three races, we as stewards will not penalise drivers any harsher than they should be and we will continue be as consistent across the board as we can be.
