Incident 1 & 2 Blocking during quali - Arbon vs V2 & Griffiths vs V2 - Q Ban & 2LP for next race due to nature of incidents.
Stewards view these incidents as easily avoidable, and therefore rather silly and unnecessary incidents. We see the first clip as V2 paused, similarly in another incident later, and the second clip with no care to move off the racing line with faster cars approaching. Due to the lack of care shown, we see this as a quali ban for the next race V2 Combat attends.
Incident 2: Arbon vs V2 - causing a collision - 10s & 3LP to V2.
Arbon is smashed from behind by a paused V2 car, resulting in race ending/affecting damage to his car for no fault of his own. Slam dunk penalty.
Incident 3:Elite ve Crowding - causing a collision.- Racing incident. RI.
The stewards see this as a typical Lap 1 incident. The corner is a difficult one to fit two through, especially when taking the different lines as shown. We had on board of crowding which showed he did not change his line and stuck to the outside, whereas Elite seems to hop the first corner resulting in the car being bounced across into Crowding rather than Crowding turning in.
Incident 4: Jito Pen removal - We as the stewards will ask to remove the penalty given as we see it unfair under SC conditions.
Incident 5: Corey vs Crowding - causing a collision - 3s & 1LP to Crowding.
The stewards voted for the severity of this incident to be set at 3s bearing in mind the race results. We know that the collision, through Crowdings save, had severely affected the race of Corey and kept Crowding in front. Therefore it had to be a penalty of some sort, and as Corey received no damage to his car through the contact, we feel 3s for this unique incident is the correct amount.

Division 2
Round 11 of the championship took us to the Styrian hills and the Austrian Grand Prix. A race weekend which for the second time this season utilised the sprint weekend format.
There was a thrilling and shocking end to qualifying. Adrian VIII was sitting in the pits comfortably hoping his 1:04.934 set earlier would be enough for pole. He sat as challenger after challenger failed to beat him. Until only one was left.
Scar B0rga seemed set to make it back to back pole positions as he was 3 tenths up on his best, which was plenty to snatch pole. But he spun on the exit of the final corner! Gifting pole position for the sprint race to Adrian VIII who has followed up his race win at Silverstone brilliantly.
Onto the sprint race, which will shape the starting grid for the feature race. It was a fantastic start for our championship leader J Lee Menz from third who was able to get the perfect launch and took the lead of the race by going around the outside of Adrian VIII into turn 1.
But things quickly turned around as on the exit of turn 3 as Menz lost the rear under traction and dropped to the back. Into turn 4 LSW L3G3ND44 was able to jump both Adrian and SLR Charlie1 to take the lead.
Things settled down at the front for a few laps, there was a lot of jostling in the midfield with only the top 8 scoring points from a sprint race. Into sector 3 on lap 4 SLR Leah lost control of his car and collected legendarydannyd while spinning. This resulted in a retirement for both cars and a safety car.
All drivers currently outside of the top 8 decided to roll the dice and pit for a fresh set of softs in order to attack on the final few laps of this race.
The safety car returned to the pits going onto lap 9 providing those who pitted for the fresh softs 4 laps to move through the field. LSW Legend produced a good restart which Charlie caught napping and Adrian who was able to leapfrog him into second place. WOR AndrewF1 almost followed Adrian through too.
Onto the final lap and there was two major battles on track. Active JMC and CSCMorris switching positions for P8 and the final point in this race. But more importantly Charlie had managed to get within striking distance of Adrian heading into the final sector. Charlie was able to make the move into the final few corners.
Ahead LSW Legend took the chequered flag and a well deserving sprint race win. SLR Charlie crossed the line in P2 and Adrian P3.
So with the starting gird for the feature race sorted there was two drivers that managed to utilise the sprint race brilliantly. SotierClock110 has bumped his starting position from 13th to 5th after a strong sprint race. Also CSCMorris was able to move up the grid. Trading his qualifying position of P17 for P8.
We head into the feature race with the threat of rain lingering in the air. With the rain being due for the final few laps it begged the question if it would come at all and if it did would there be long enough for it to effect the conditions.
The lights are out and away we go. Unlike Adrian in the sprint Legend is able to hold onto the lead out of turn 1. There is a awful lot of movement in the midfield battle again. SLR Jack had a poor opening lap dropping from P6 all the way down to P13. But the best news there was no major incidents on lap 1.
By lap 6 it was turning into a three horse race. The top 3 had dropped fourth place by 3 seconds. Charlie in second place was looking strong through saving his battery while using DRS to drag him along, waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce.
Charlie was not behind for long as he decides to strike on lap 8. On the long up hill climb to turn 3. He utilises everything he had saved to sail down the inside of Legend. Over the next few laps the pair battled hard for the race lead. Which allowed those behind to claw their way back.
By the time we get to lap 13 it is almost a 5 way battle for the lead.
Lap 15/16 is where we start seeing those that began the race on the medium tyres pitting. Both Charlie and Legend pit together, so like on track it is now a battle between their pit crews. They rejoin in P6/7 with all those ahead yet to pit. Scar B0rga takes the lead of the race, but yet to pit as he started on hard tyres.
Lap 18 Active JMC crashes in sector 3 which brings out a safety car. This gave Scar B0rga, CSCMorris and WOR AndrewF1 the opportunity to gain massively due to starting on the hard tyres and not pitting yet. So much so for Scar B0rga that he is able to pit and come back in the lead.
It is only a short safety car period and the racing is back underway on lap 22. Scar B0rga gets a strong start, as does Charlie. But Legend in P3 struggles which allows CSCMorris the chance to overtake him on the climb to turn 3.
At the end of lap 22 there is contact on the exit of the final corner between SLR Mash and SLR Moley. Contact caused by the Williams driving losing control on corner exit. Moley is the disqualified from the race for facing the wrong way after contact.
Back to the battle at the front and Scar Borga was building a commanding lead until e ran wide on the exit of turn 1. This provides the chasing cluster of drivers with the opportunity to get back within DRS of the race leader on lap 24.
The race seemed to slow down for a phase with Scar Borga extending his lead again to those behind. As has been the case in both the sprint and the feature up to this point. The racing was ferocious with multiple positions change and some brilliant wheel to wheel racing.
The rain did not stay away as come 31 the heavens had opened. It was almost instant the need to switch from the dry to inters, so much so that the top 6 had missed the opportunity and had to go for one lap on dry tyres in very wet conditions.
Multiple drivers lost control of their cars in these tricky conditions, including Charlie! What a disaster for the Red Bull driver. He had done so well all race, looking set for a top 3 finish for it all to come crash down on the exit of turn 1.
Even more carnage in sector 3 CSCMorris, who was running P2 had a off, he managed to keep control but lost a large chunk of time to Scar Borga ahead along with 2nd place. WOR AndrewF1 snatched that from him.
Our championship leader J Lee Menz was one of those to put on Lap 31 from P7. By the time lap 33 started everyone had pitted to change tyres and he found himself P4 within a second of CSCMorris in P3. All race it looked like Charlie was going to eat into Menz championship lead. But 1 lap of carnage it was flipped.
Then things got even worse for Charlie. Lap 34 he crashed out of the grand prix.
Onto the last lap and Scar Borga is looking comfortable in P1, same for Andrew in P2. The battle is on for P3. Morris has a time penalty and Menz is trying all he can to remain within the time window.
Scar B0rga wins! A brilliant drive and strategy call to start on the hards pays off for B0rga. WOR AndrewF1 crosses the line to take P2 and his first podium of the season. CSCMorris crosses the line in P3. However due to that time penalty he drops to P4. Thus promoting J Lee Menz to third place and what looked like a very unlikely podium 6 laps ago.
So going into the mid season break. J Lee Menz has a commanding lead in the drivers championship over SLR Charlie. Scar B0rga will be 3rd in the standings but again a long long way back.

Sprint Race Lap 1 incident involving RRT AdamLee & dRaSt1k bLazE
Outcome: Racing Incident
Reason: Upon reviewing the evidence we are to believe that Adam should have been able to see blaze on his outside and give some room for blaze to be alongside - instead he takes the apex when blaze still has part of the car alongside and such causes this contact. Blaze deemed not to be at fault for this.
Race Lap 1 incident involving SLR Xhaka & SSR Halo
Outcome: Racing Incident
Reason: this incident is caused by Xhaka braking too late considering the angle he has for turn 1 - Halo attempts to leave the space and does so but Xhaka had too much speed going into the corner to make this work 2 wide.
Division 4
-------Austrian GP Div 4 Report-------
Whilst it wasn't the floods of Division 3, division 4 were treated to a sprint race under inter conditions in the Stryian Hills.
A little carnage at the start from a car being spun saw a few cars pick up damage as it was collected, as the rest of the field maybe saw 1/3 of the race under safety car conditions.
This saw a gamble from SLR Hicklin and SmitHPDan to try their hand under dry tyres with mediums and softs respectively however this gamble did not pay off.
Some tight battles in the field saw a final standing of Pazuzu, Cameron and Starsophan taking the top 3.

For the 2nd weekend in succession we had a great battle in division four that went right to the final, despite a sketchy finish here, it is very nice to see so many cars this close to each other on the final lap without the aid of a safety car bunching them for the final few laps.
There was numerous battles all through the field with many drivers struggling to break the DRS. Which led to many changes of the lead and many moves into turn 3.
Chaos ascended in the last few laps, drivers forcing others off and then the coming together between Maxwell and Cameron, after all was said and done, Pazuzu took the win and strengthened his grip on the championship title.
richie chappell took 2nd but he had a battle of his own, not so much on track but with the ea servers, being kicked out more than wrestlers unprotected finishing move.
SmitHPDANX01 recovered to p3 putting behind his SPRINT nightmare decision.
Maxwell took 4th an additional pen caused by being forced off the track putting him further down, although he was dragged back into the fight by the safety car allowing his 2 stopper to work.
Cameron with his usual Jose Mourinho staunch defence was having a stellar race but the incident at the end dropped him to 5th.
Starsophan came home p6 with SLR St2oh being removed from results due to not participating, however its believed his AI was a bit of hazard.
JPPGaming took p8, with Baggie P9 showing great never give up spirit after a sketchy qualifying with Hicklin taking p10 and for the 3rd week in a row I believe taking the fastest lap. He was the last of the finishers.
We started with 13. Finished technically with 9, with 2 DNF's a DSQ and one unclassified.
Full result prior to steward results.

Incident 1: l Cxmzn l and l21l Maxwell - Lap 36, Causing a collision
Outcome: 10 second time penalty and 4 license points to l21l Maxwell
Reason: The stewards agree that l21l Maxwell is responsible for avoiding major contact. l21l Maxwell is the trailing car, and although l Cxmzn l may have taken T3 slower than expected l Cxmzn l has not driven erratically, therefore l21l Maxwell should have taken action to avoid colliding with l Cxmzn l.
Incident 2: l21l Maxwell and Starsorphan6 - Sprint Race, Lap 1, Causing a collision
Outcome: 5 second time penalty and 2 license points to Starsorphan6
Reason: Starsorphan6 turns into T1 and does not leave at least 1 cars width for l21l Maxwell. This causes l21l Maxwell to spin as he is already committed and entitled for space to be left for him.
Incident 3: l21l Maxwell and SmitHPDanX01 - Lap 35, Causing a collision/Forcing another driver off track
Outcome: No further action
Reason: The stewards believe that SmitHPDanX01 was close enough to make a move into T3. The overtake is aggressive but within the expected limits of driving standards. l21l Maxwell attempting to take the racing line is a contributing factor to the contact being made. In response to the contact, l21l Maxwell is bumped slightly towards the outer edge of the track, and as such he collects a penalty for exceeding track limits. The stewards do not think that SmitHPDanX01 was at fault for this.
