Singapore Appeals

Appeal 1 (F2)

Semm and the pitlane

Stewards Decision - 5s and 1lp

Panel Decision - 5s and 1lp

The panel received sufficient evidence that showed that there was significant damage on the car, however, did not receive or locate any clips of the pitlane entry itself and cannot make an informed decision on the matter and will leave this on the stewards judgement

Appeal 2 (F2)

Semm and Dodgy

Stewards Decision - 5s and 1lp

Panel Decision - NFA

The panel reviewed the evidence provided and concluded that even though there is some contact between the two drivers, Semm is already alongside and ahead to gain the position. This was seen as hard racing between the two and in this circumstance, even though Dodgy went off track marginally as a result

Appeal 3 (F2)

Merks / Owen / Dodgy

Stewards Decision - 5s and 1lp

Panel Decision - NFA

The panel reviewed the incident and concluded that this incident was avoidable, however, have de-escalated the penalty. Merkz is hit from behind from Owen in the braking zone, and in turn, hits Dodgy who is in front as a result. Without Owen making contact with merkz, the panel believes that this incident would not have occurred and in turn have removed their Applied Penalty.

Appeal 4 (D3)

Adam Lee and Blain

Stewards Decision - 10s and 2lp

Panel Decision - 10s and 2lp

The panel reviewed the incident and did not feel that there was any new information or evidence to justify a more severe penalty. The panel noted that Blain wasn't being overly sensible when making the move, but there was no real intent or reason to bring a harsher penalty

Appeal 5 (D1)

Benz and Intentional DNF

Stewards Decision - Race Ban and 4lp

Panel Decision - NFA

The panel investigated the clip and the supporting statements and have overturned the stewards ruling. The panel was happy with the statement provided and that any reason to crash intentionally or manipulate the race is eradicated due to the race being under a full caution at the time of incident. The panel suggested that in this incident, Benz has just dropped the rears under caution and retired. The panel notes that the stewards haven't noted a reason for their race ban, but the panel would be happy to hear the reasoning as this is not mentioned on the report
