The race was just your standard entertainment for a Silverstone race, with many different DRS trains, incidents at the start, and a safety car on lap 7 which really made everyone on the grid have to think about strategy which really spiced up the race. But after all the 3 laps of SLR Medal2533 leading (chaos) and strategy it was TV8 Ogween77 who takes another win this season. A welcome result for the reigning champion after qualifying in P5, chose to pit under the safety car for Mediums to the end of the race and was able to make it work and be quick enough to hold off people pitting late for softs. Second place was BMidzy, who after being P4 after the sprint, is a great result for the Red Bull man after a string of poor performances this is one that will surely find him some form and hopefully, he can challenge more often because he has all the pace in the world but a few mistakes have undone some races for him this season. Rounding off the podium was SLR Jam40, from qualifying in P13, a great recovery from the Mercedes man, who is really beginning to find some form, and if he can keep up this pace for the remainder of the season who knows he may challenge. Notable drives outside the top 3 was SimbarocksONE, who from qualifying P12 and ending in P12 in the sprint after being involved in an incident, got on the right end of the strategy and had the pace to be able to get points for the first time in the last 4 races including this one. A step in the right direction for the McLaren driver who will be looking to continue scoring more and get higher up in the championship.

After one of the most fascinating races in some time, it really was a great race and a great weekend for many. Next week though we are off to the Arden Forest for Belgium. One of the most historic tracks on the calendar and with the longest track on the calendar it’s very difficult to hook up a lap through the 7km circuit. Division 2

Here we are again for another round of Summit league racing and this week there's a sprint race also so I'm sure that will be fun. As qualifying gets underway and its FRL Kirito who starts us off putting a 1:28.233 on the board, but ellis 37 then does a 1:27.944 to take the top spot, SLR Mash sets a time of 1:28.104 to go P2 with 12 minutes left of the session.

The two Ferraris come across the line and it is J Lee Menz the quicker out of the two with a 1:27.605 to take P1 and Adrian VIII sets a 1:27.785 to go P2. into the last 5 minutes of the session who's going to take pole position for the sprint race? SLR Mash has done a 1:27.704 to go P2 and Ellis 37 with a 1:27.748 for P3 for the moment, ZachIsBeast25 sets a time of 1:27.665 to take P2 Which means J Lee Menz takes pole.

As we head around on the formation lap of the sprint race, looks like its going to be a full wet race and the lights go out and SLR Mash drops to P7 off the line with a rubbish start, there is contact between ZachIsBeast25 and FRL Kirito who goes off track but keeps the car going, Active JMC takes advantage and goes past them both but ZachIsBeast25 tries to stay down the inside at luffield but makes contact and half spins into Kirito. ZachIsBeast25 loses the back end on the final corner and goes into the wall and drops to the back of the field.

Lap 5 safety car! dRaSt1k bLazE spins and crashes out which brings out the full safety car for 1 lap. J Lee MEnz leads the way on the restart, he and JMC both get a good restart constantly battling until the end where it's J Lee Menz who takes the win, JMC in P2 and FRL Kirito in P3.

26 laps of Silverstone everyone in the top 10 starting on the mediums except for VapidCoot74 who starts on the hards,. Lights out and we are underway as usual FRL Kirito gets insane traction off the line and moves up to P1 before turn 1 unlike JR Volts who has no traction and loses the car off the line. SLR Moley goes flying into the wall and out comes the VSC on lap 1! That ends on lap 2 and we are back racing and ellis 37 spins on the exit of turn 2 and drops all the way to the back. J Lee Menz gets past Active JMC on lap7 but in JMC fashion he dives down the inside to get the position back and contact is made.

Lap 10 and SLR Mash spins on the exit of copse and drops him down to P14, while VapidCoot74 now is having a look at getting past JMC, Lap 16 and everyone has came in to do there pit stops and Kislesko has a spin coming out of chapel and brings out the 2nd VSC but only for half a lap. Adrian VIII and Kemence61 fighting through the whole of sector 3 and Kemence61 gets the better of the 2, ZachisBeast though spins on the exit of turn 3 dropping from down 6 places to P9. but even more drama on Lap 19 as J Lee Menz and VapidCoot74 try to go side by side through stowe and end up colliding and they both spin which promotes Kemence61 to P2 and drops them to P9 and 10.

As we cross the line at the chequered flag and its FRL Kirito who wins, Kemence61 in P2 and Adrian VIII who worked his way up to P3 has spun on the final corner and crashed into the wall! So ZachIsBeast takes the final spot on the podium. Join us next week where we head to Belgium for the next round of Summit League Racing.

ncident involving SLR Moley, OwenHowell36 and Kislesko - Lap 1, Turn 9:

Qualifying Ban to be served at the next round Kislesko enters and 3 Licence Points - it’s a ridiculously ambitious move from Kislesko trying to make it 3 wide at this part of the track and he hits Owen into Moley causing a major and obviously avoidable incident.

Incident involving J Lee Menz and VapidCoot74 - Lap 18, Turn 16:

Racing incident - Sufficient room has been left by Menz and it’s just an unfortunate coming together between the two cars.

Incident involving J Lee Menz and VapidCoot74 - Lap 1, Turn 1:

1 Licence Point and a warning to VapidCoot74 for forcing another driver off the track - Vapid just brakes slightly too late and forced Menz ever so slightly off of the track, this incident has been treated slightly more lenient due to it being the first braking zone on the first lap.

@SmitHPDanX01 vs @SLRRaikkonen Causing a collision- Lap 26

Outcome: 5 seconds and 1LP to SLRRaikkonen

Stewards feel that Dan makes the overtake cleanly, but Raikkonen tries to stick it around the outside but gets too close and spins the McLaren around by locking with it’s rear wheels.

@SmitHPDanX01 Reset to track- Lap 26

Outcome: 10 seconds and 3LP to SmithHPDanX01

Even though the incident he has before is unfortunate, any reset to track has to be punished like this hence the penalty.

@SSR Halo vs @F1 Warhead Causing a collision- Lap 3

Outcome: NFA

Even though Warhead is spun around, he is not ahead at the entry of the corner and chooses to keep accelerating to try and get alongside the Alfa Romeo, who is ahead at the corner, and that Warhead should have backed out and paid the price.

@F1 Warhead vs @Swinners2828 Causing a collision- Lap 1- Sprint Outcome: NFA

Because F1 Warhead slows down by a margin to avoid cutting the corner, Swinners is not given much time to react to this and feels it is simply a Lap 1 incident hence the NFA.
