For once there wasn’t rain in the Mckeon division. Of all the places for it not to rain!

Onto qualifying. Starting with Q1, which was incredibly close as just 3 tenths of a second separated p10 from p19! The drivers out in q1 were Kevin, Bennett, jibjab, riggsey and SLR’s head of F2 propaganda, southerner.

Now q2, which was fiercely competitive. Among the drivers out in q2 were last week’s 2nd and 3rd place finishers ZyDRAD and PaRa Quickz! They would hope to recover with the alternate strategy.

Now onto q3. Track position is crucial at Silverstone as typically it’s a drs train, and going by previous sessions any small mistake would set you back massively. No surprises for guessing who was on pole, as championship leader midzy claimed his 7th pole position of the season. Behind him it was incredibly tight, with crispy finally putting in a strong qualifying display and putting his haas on the front row. Behind them were crowding in p3 and v2 in p4. These 4 would be the main players of the race at the front

Now onto the race. At the front it was a relatively quiet start with a huge exception. Monkeyy would lose it off the startline and retire almost instantly! This would cause a VSC, giving several drivers near the back 5 second penalties. Once the VSC ended things were fairly quiet until crispy made a critical error and spun from p2 at luffield! He would recover to score a couple of points but it was another disappointing race for crispy.

Now onto the pit stop phase, where v2 went for a 1 lap undercut and would jump crowding with it! Further down the field, ogween would lose DRS on the top 3. This would cause the pack to split up a bit, with there being 2 main races. The race for the top 3 positions and the race for 4th. Where would the alt strat runners fit into this?


At the front, V2 passed midzy for the lead! However almost immediately after that, the Alfa driver would disconnect. Absolutely gutting, as he would drop down the field. V2 had a lot of pace though, so was on full attack mode to try to recover to a strong position.

V2’s disconnection would make what was the battle for p4 the battle for the final spot on the podium. These positions were changing all the time. Raceroller, edgarss, Corey, ogween and the alt strat runners of para and zydrad were in this battle, along with v2. The Alfa driver had reconnected to the session in p8. This battle for p3 would not be without incident. Here’s these incidents in a quick list:

•ogween picked up damage

•ZyDRAD and Corey made contact, which severely compromised para

•raceroller and Corey made contact, spinning Corey

•jibjab would pick up damage at the back of this train

All of this meant that, going onto the final lap, ZyDRAD was in p3, raceroller was in p4 and v2 was in p5. Roller attempted a move on ZyDRAD but v2 was waiting to pounce, opportunistically moving into p4 after roller’s line was compromised. V2 would also pass zy on the hangar straight, completing an incredibly recovery to deservedly reclaim p3.

Meanwhile midzy was unable to shake crowding, however the Aston Martin driver would push too hard on the final lap trying to get close enough to midzy, half spinning and dropping out of contention for the win. However, a p2 result for crowding was a very impressive drive. So at the flag it was midzy in p1, crowding in p2, v2 in p3, ZyDRAD in p4 and raceroller in p5. Shout-out to southerner for scoring some decent points in p7 as well.

Incident involving ETE Semm, KevinGT & Merkz47 - Lap 1 (causing a collision)

Outcome: Warning to KevinGT

Reason: The stewards have reviewed all the submitted footage and determined that going into T1, Merkz is still alongside kevin, and does try to back out of the move to his inside, and Kevin does turn across slightly leaving Merkz nowhere to go, causing Kevin to have a moment due to loss of rear grip, and slides into Semm, giving him damage. No one party can be totally to blame here, with Kevin being at most to blame. Given its an opening corner incident with no significant errors in judgment, the stewards feel a warning is sufficient.


Incident involving SLR Corey & Raceroller22 - Lap 22 (causing a collision)

Outcome: No Further Action

Reason: The stewards have reviewed the submitted footage and determined that Raceroller is significantly ahead going into T3, and thus he is allowed to dictate his line going through the corner. Corey attempts an ambitious (to say the least) move up the inside, and duly gets spun.


Incident involving SLR Bennett & Merkz47 - Lap 12 (causing a collision)

Outcome: 5s + 2LP awarded to SLR Bennett for causing a collision

Reason: The stewards have reviewed the available footage and determined that despite the fact that Bennett is the car on the inside going through Stowe on lap 12, and thus has the ability to dictate the line, he goes horrendously deep, and makes contact with Merkz, giving him minor wing damage. It can be said that Bennett has not left sufficient room to the outside of the track in this case given how fast a corner Stowe is, and therefore the incident is solely his fault.


Incident involving SLR Bennett and Merkz47 - Lap 25 (causing a collision)

Outcome: 5s + 1LP awarded to SLR Bennett for causing a collision

Reason: The stewards have reviewed the available footage and determined that at the point of contact, Merkz was significantly alongside Bennett and thus should be left room on the inside of the circuit. The stewards felt this was not the case, and that Merkz did not understeer into hte Alfa Romeo. Thus it can be said that it is Bennett’s fault for Merkz’s half spin and subsequent loss of time.


Incident involving SLR Corey and Mr Ogween 77 - Qualifying (Illegal Blocking)

Outcome: 2LP awarded to SLR Corey for illegally blocking another car’s hotlap

Reason: The stewards have reviewed the footage submitted and determined that heading into the Vale chicane, Corey is sat on the racing line, and the presence of his car in this area of the circuit could 1) have hindered Ogween’s ability to brake at the normal braking point due to the distraction of the car in front, and/or 2) have hindered Ogween’s ability to turn in due to the cars presence and/or the effect of dirty air. Either way, Ogween loses time because of this when he may not have done otherwise.

Corey had plenty of time to move to the side to let Ogween complete his lap before this point, thus blame lies solely with the Williams driver.

Reason: forcing another car off track, losing him a position.

Reason: impeding another driver who was on a flying lap and giving him damage.

Outcome: qualifying ban for badderss

Reason: impeding another driver while on a fast lap.


SLR Darnell vs SLR Jam

Outcome: 5s and 1LP to jam

Reason: misjudged his breaking point and took out Darnell resulting him falling down the pecking order.


SLR Darnell vs ETSR Jenson2508

Outcome: racing incident

Reason: tricky conditions on lap 1, Jensen just got a better exit and caught Darnell rear left tyre.


Division One - DPT Paul timing glitch amended - Paul finishes 0.784s ahead of the winner SLR Cech and so takes the win





Division 2


Welcome to round 9 and the home race of SLR. Will we see a change in the championship lead as VR46 leads VapidCoot74 by 4 points going into this weekend.


As qualifying starts dry division 2 were gonna get rain for Q2. When It was time to hit the track for Q2 everyone rushed out the pits as it wasn’t quite time for any wet compound of tyres so a lot of drivers went out on slicks to try and get through to Q3. The rain kept on getting heavier and drivers found that the slicks aren’t the quickest tyre. Eventually drivers changed to the intermediates. Q3 was the opposite as it would start with small showers but then dry up near the end so lap times will get faster later on, so it’s all about being the last driver to set a lap so they get the full track evolution and should be the quickest lap if they don’t invalidate.


The qualifying results are; SLR Morgan takes pole, Adrian VIII P2, Kemence P3, MasonGammon P4, Simon P5, VapidCoot P6, VR46 P7, ARL PReDaToRZz P8, LSW L3G3ND44 P9 and SLR Liam P10.


LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!


Lap 1:

Everyone get away well and a few already making up a lot of positions. L3G3ND44, Ellis 37 and SLR Allen spinning on the exit of T3 and trying to catch back up to the field. On the same lap just after Maggots and Becketts Shaggy has spun round on the entry to hanger straight. A lot of chaos on lap 1 but as the grid will began to settle more positions will be gained.


As we go onto lap 3 OwenHowell put the power down to early at T3 and loses out on the battle for P12. As Kemence is in a good spot on the mediums as he finds himself behind the leader of this race SLR Morgan. Also the Two Alfa Romeos are battling as VR46 and VapidCoot are so close in the championship these two drivers aren’t working together.


Lap 4; CSC Morris has crashed on the exit of copse corner no safety car was brought out. As now we look at the battle for P11 between Badotter, Southraptor and L3G3ND44 who makes it 3 wide into stowe to make it a double overtake for P11 what a move.


As now we are approaching the pit window for the soft runners to go onto the mediums for the rest of the race.

On lap 7 SLR Liam has chosen to pit of his softs and call the undercut on drivers around him. Meanwhile we have a battle going on between Simon and Adrian for P4 Simon manages to stay ahead of the mercedes driver for now.


Lap 11; all soft runners are in or already have pitted for the mediums all eyes are on the medium runners to see how much time they are losing to people who have pitted for fresh mediums.


As we are approaching the half way point of this 26 lap race Kemence leads but still needs to pit and so does everyone from P1-P9 and also Ellis who is down in P14. Kemence now pits on Lap 14 and comes out behind Mason and Morgan who he was battling at the start of this race so the undercut is proven to be really over powered. As now all mediums runner are reacting to kemence pitting and SLR Morgan is net P1.


Lap 16; MasonGammon goes for the move on SLR Morgan at Stowe and takes the lead of this race with only 10 laps to go can MassonGammon keep the lead again Morgan who has a 3 second time penalty.


As we are reaching the end of this race of division 2 round 9 there is a safety car that will spice things up and this will not help Morgan what so ever with that time penalty. Will we see everyone jump into the pitlane and put on fresh rubber the answer to that is yes but only a few drivers have opted for it. MasonGammon stays out but Morgan comes in to change to fresh softs.


As we go green after the safety car it’s Kemence Vs MasonGammon for the lead as there is only 5 laps to go so this is a 5 lap shoot out to see who will be taking the top spot on the podium. As also to note that both Mercedes drivers are P3 and P4 which is a really good result if the race finishes like this.


As we come to the end of the race as Kemence manages to get infront of MasonGammon but because kemence has a time penalty all mason has to do is stay within 3 seconds which he manages to do and MasonGammon05 wins the British GP followed by Adrian VIII and SotierClock110. It’s a Mercedes 2-3 which I’m sure they are happy and it’s a Haas P1.

MasonGammon05 timing glitch - Mason’s timing glitch was amended however it was brought to our attention that when he left the session his track limit warning’s were reset. Mason accumulated enough track extensions for a penalty and so 3s was added to his time, putting him with a gap of 2.170s to the winner pre-penalties


Multiple incidents involving Shaggy653 - 2 race ban and 9LP awarded to Shaggy653 for directly influencing the result of the race.


Shaggy not only reset to track, forcing SLR Moley to take avoiding action, but he also deliberately crashed and brought out a Safety Car after resetting to the track for a second time. This incident greatly influenced the course of the race and so we believe the appropriate action has been taken to reflect the sincerity of these incidents.


FURTHER 2X RACE BAN FOR SHAGGY653 FOR ACCUMULATING 15LP.


Division 3


In Division 3 this week a trip home to Silverstone in the sunshine was on the cards. Qualifying really heated up in Q3 as you’d expect alpha Tauri driver Alpeh picked up pole by 3 tenths ahead of SLR jack. SLR Charlie and SLR Leah would share the second row.


To the race then and SLR Jack took the lead into the first corner. Bit of a pile up behind with contact and a couple of spinners. DRaSt1k bLaZe the one that took advantage and was up on P5 at this stage. Active jmc the biggest winner on lap 1 gaining 7 places.


Codzilla on debut found himself making an early exit from the race and a vsc came out. The race settled after this however and drs trains were formed as laps ticked by.


Alpeh from 3rd was the first to pit seemingly early on lap 7 just as Charlie took the lead. No one covered this move by Alpeh. Couple of laps later SLR Leah pit came out just behind Alpeh. And both had pulled the undercut on Charlie and Jack as we set up for a frantic finish.


As Alpeh picked up a penalty for track limits and a few laps later 2nd place Leah did to that meant Charlie was running a net 1st.


With the race nearing its end the two alpha tauri’s in front Leah sacrificed his race and let teammate Alpeh bridge a gap. Charlie unable to pass Leah for a few laps became increasing annoying for the Aston Martin driver even more so as once he did get passed a AI got in his way coming out the pits costing him a couple positions to SLR Jack and again SLR Leah.


Meanwhile the gap was now perfect for Alpeh who’d cross the line and win the British Grand Prix. Ahead of SLR Jack in P2 and SLR Charlie in P3. SLR Leah would claim P4 despite crossing the line 2nd. Great points for alpha tauri closing the gap to Aston Martin in the constructors.

Great Britain Division 4 season 8


Qualifying on Silverstone was Dry with a wet race predicted, so many drivers ran with a wet setup.

nonetheless people pushed thier cars to the limit with no need to save soft tyres. Timole gained pole quickly followed by Bigbag and Pazuzu.


As the cars lined up on the grid it looked to be an intermediate tyre start on a drizzly Silverstone Circuit. Final adjustments to the grid lineup saw SLR Floersch moved to the back and SmitHPDanX01 unable to continue into the race.


as the lights went out cxmzn spun off the track and timole dropped down to 4th and Rosco gained a 10 second track limit penalty all before and at turn 1. Timole fought back into third and F1 warhead neaks into 6th as the pack started to settle. after lap 1 Beethoven had gained 6 positions with SLR floersch gaining 5. PopcornJoe and rosco pitted due to damage.

Hicklin span in lap 2 dropping to 14th as a battle for p2 began. The train of drivers continued as darkstorm took 7th from maxwell in lap 3. lap 4 sees warhead making his way up into 5th as Marsh made a small mistake giving him a window.

As the gaps started to widen as drivers struggled in the spray Cxmzn span off at the old pit entry in lap 5, followed by stevo who span off on the hangar straight, causing a safety car.

Most of the top drivers chose this opportunity to pit But F1 warhead, Marsh, darkstormQC, maxwell Beethoven and Floersch opted to stay out and gain positions.


The aston martin safety car peeled in for a restart lap 9 leaving the aston martin driver warhead in first to restart the race, opting for a very late start halfway through the last corner, As this happened marsh rode the inside curb causing him to take damage and drop down the grid. Darkstorm and maxwell came together causing maxwell to spin out in turn 3, all these incidents aided warhead in gaining a 1.5second lead.

during lap 10 SLR russell worked his way past JPPGaming to P9 and Floersch lost control of his car in the wet conditions, Hicklin and Timole battled for the now P6 and Warhead pushed a fastest lap hoping to pull away further from 2nd.


The race continued as warhead kept making faster laps putting a 1.38.9 for lap 12 and pulling 4 seconds ahead of 2nd, by lap 14 Russell had caught up to Hicklin and as they went side by side Hicklin lost traction putting Russell upto 6th place and Darkstorm entered the pits leaving Beethoven to take 2nd and widening the gap to first further.The 4 way battle for P2 began at this point with Beethoven keeping cool and fending off his competitors.


In lap 15 Russell span out dropping 6 positions to 12th behind Cxmzn, over the lap gaining and going side by side as Cxmzn cut turn 6 spinning out. Russell lost his car coming out of copse and dropps back down with Cxmzn.


as the wet race continued Pazuzu kept trying take P2 from Beethoven but finds it difficult to get close enough to make a move. Russell crashed out L19, and Cxmzn entered the pit to forfeit, leaving 13 cars still on track, Warhead by this point has pulled a dominant 8 second lead.


Lap 21 Beethoven and warhead still on their starting tyres stay upfront, Beethoven keeping the drivers on fresher tyres back. Marsh steals fastest lap from warhead only for it to be stolen by Hicklin the following lap.


In the final lap Beethoven goes deep in Maggotts and Becketts and Pazuzu took advantage taking 2nd on track. This has been a difficult wet race in silverstone and once penalties are applied Bigbag takes second, Pazuzu third, with beethoven just missing out on a podium. But in first place with a runaway victory is F1 Warhead a solid 8 seconds ahead.

Incident 1: l 21 l Maxwell vs DarkstormQC - Lap 9, Causing a collision

Outcome: 5 second time penalty and 2 license points to DarkstormQC

Reason: DarkstormQC leaves no room for l 21 l Maxwell at the corner apex, and causes the collision forcing l 21 l Maxwell off track.


Incident 2: JPPGaming96 vs SLR Floersch - Lap 10, Dangerous re-entry

Outcome: No Further Action

Reason: Although JPPGaming96 has to take some avoid action, evidence does show SLR Floersch stopping his re-entry until all cars have passed. As no contact was made, no further action was deemed appropriate.


Incident 3: l 21 l Maxwell - Post race, Timing Glitch

Outcome: Final timing has been amended with l 21 l Maxwell 14.459 seconds behind the race winner.
