The Elite division returns home for many at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone for one of the fastest tracks on the calendar, and a track that presents plenty of overtaking opportunity
The battle for pole position was the closest we've seen it this season, as the pole time was shared between two drivers. Midzy15 set the 1:26.286 first, however, it was SLR Alfie with the pole, of the same time, going even further than a thousandth of a second in the battle, and it was the Williams of Bezzas1 just over a tenth away, with a 1:26.406
The start would see a vicious fight between the front row starters as they would take the lead and swap it round on more than the one occasion as the rest of the field would also look to make moves
The race would quickly turn into a massive snake looking for DRS once the drivers had settled into position, and lap3 would see Klutzy Winter spin off at Stowe corner and onto the grass, losing multiple positions. Winter would pit a lap later whilst the lead would change again at the front with Alfie resuming the lead. Klutzys spin would also see a gap between Roller and Riggs form as two separate trains formed following this
Lap 7 would see Monkey make a small mistake on the exit of Chapel which would see him go from 7th to 17th, which in itself, just says how close it really is in the midfield. After this, it would be UKBeastAssassin trying to trigger an undercut on the end of the same lap, but not everyone was quick to respond
Most of the pitlane action was on lap 9 and 10 when all the soft runners would have made their stops, and at the front, the undercut for Midzy15 was crucial as it got him just outside of the DRS of Alfie behind originally, so it was would be up to the Mercedes to push and get back in that window
Alfie was able to get back into the window very quickly as in the early stages, the Mercedes seemed to be more comfortable than the Williams on the Medium tyres as they would be in reversed roles after their stops, and Alfie would get past on Lap 14 and inherit a net lead
PaRa quick would make a move up the inside of UKBeastAssassin into Stowe, and as the Haas would get out of shape, allowed the Alpine of Riggs to go round the outside into club, which would then be the inside for Vale in a heating battle. Beast would get the place back off the exit of Luffield, but crucially, the soft runners would really be threatening now, with Jibjab already making moves on both drivers on the Softs, and looking racy
The battle would see Benz in the Ferrari interfere with the leading battle as he hadn't pit yet, and as Alfie looked to make the move, had to start looking in his mirrors as Midzy and Sillybunny were there as well, and they all knew Benz would be making life difficult for their pursuit of the win
The Safety Car would spice up the race on lap following a retirement for Yologamer666 and half the grid dived into the pit for a fresh set of softs, whilst the leaders would stay out on their mediums
Cech would get disqualified for coming into the pits and making his stop, believed to be for overtaking the safety car, a massive stroke of bad luck for the Mercedes this late in the race. Under safety car conditions, Roller and V2 also made contact which incurred a penalty, and track validation penalties became more emphasised as the grid was packed up
Alfie would lead the grid away, and throughout all the chaos and hard battling everywhere else, Alfie was able to lead off the restart, and take the win in Silverstone for his first win in the top tier, Midzy15 would extend his championship lead and Sillybunny would get his first podium of the season with a strong P3 finish

Safety car incident:
Decision: 5s+2LP to V2 x Combat, 5s penalty removed for raceroller22. V2’s in game penalty stands.
Reason: raceroller has to brake a bit to avoid bunny but still maintains a safe distance to him. The distance between roller and bunny doesn’t drastically change whilst roller brakes so we don’t feel he has brake checked the cars behind, nor do we feel bunny suddenly slows ahead. The person who instigates the collision is V2, as he goes quite hot on the brakes, misjudging roller’s speed and hitting him. Therefore we have awarded him with an additional 5 second penalty for the collision on top of the 5 seconds he got from the game. Roller will have his penalty removed as he provided enough evidence to prove that this penalty was indeed added to his race time at the end of the race.
SLR Dylan vs R1ggs8
Decision: Racing incident
Reason: Dylan and Riggs are going side by side through turns 3 and 4, there’s a bit of racing contact but it’s unfortunate that Dylan has spun from it if anything. We feel there’s no reason to award Riggs a penalty.
In Division One this week the big talking points were a new admin being appointed in LP Smoke and the proper return to racing for SLR Sam, who hasn’t managed to make the last few weeks due to injury.
We of course start with qualifying, and after seeing almost the entire grid split by 0.6s in Q1, it was pole position for the returning SLR Sam at one of his top tracks, he took the top spot by just over 0.2s from LP Smoke and rockamad73.
Into the race and Sam had a great getaway off the lights and comfortably took the lead, whilst rockamad73 was overtaken by DPT Paul for P3. The biggest loser from the first lap was SLR Semm, who spun on the formation lap and furthermore lost 5 spots due to cold tyres. l VR46 l also lost out on the first lap after being pushed wide at Abbey and got a 3-second penalty for cutting the Farm corner.
Sam, who was in the new white-liveried Red Bull this week, began to slowly form a gap to Smoke in P2, but it would be the latter who took the gamble on the undercut early on lap 7, as he ridded his softs for a fresh set of mediums for the rest of the race. He got a bigger undercut on rockamad73 behind, however Sam would flex his muscles in the laps between the pits and came out a similar gap to what it was before after pitting on Lap 9.
One of the big winners from the first stint was OwenHowell36, who despite starting P17 due to missing the chequered flag in Q1, decided to start on the softs and get a move on early, and was up to P11 by the time he pit. He would then push on the first laps on the mediums and by the time the medium starters pit, he found himself in P7.
There were a few battles going on throughout the rest of the race and a couple incidents, including one between LP Smoke and rockamad73 for P2, which saw the latter in the Alpine spin at Stowe and lose out heavily. However he would not send it in to the stewards after the race, and would make it a quiet evening for the stewards as there was no incidents reported at all to the stewards!
This meant that as we crossed the line, it was SLR Sam who crossed the line P1 by 6.3s over LP Smoke, who crossed the line behind l VR46 l, however the AlphaTauri driver was relegated to P3 after that penalty he was given on Lap 1. However it was still a podium in just his 3rd points finish this season.
DPT Paul would finish a strong P4 ahead of OwenHowell36 who got driver of the day, bouncing back from last week’s crash. SotierClock110 also gained many positions to finish P6, mainly due to the lack of penalties he got through the race and jumped DPT Alfie, WOR Peanut 07 & ELiTE x RisKz, who finished 7th, 8th & 9th respectively. A spin on the last lap from Head Admin SLR Bennett3810 saw him lose a couple positions but he managed to still get P10 by under a second over ARL PReDaToRZz, who unfortunately just missed out on the points.
A massive well done to all those that raced this week, and let’s hope for another clean and exciting race this Friday around the Hungaroring!

In Division 2 this week the weather radar very quickly told us rain was on the way so it was scramble to get out the pits and get a clean lap in well you could on dry tyres in Q1.
In Q2 and 3 the rain was with us and expecting a wet race to me at drivers were out setting times on the intermediate tyres. Looked to be a 4 way fight throughout qualifying with championship leader Masseyf1, Zachisbeast, JackMullCGFC and debut reserve driver AWRL Kevin setting some quick times.
It was JackMull taking pole with a 1.35.432 just ahead of team mate for the weekend AWRL Kevin. A tenth behind.
To the race then and the rain was pouring down so it would be a full wet start. Everyone got away fairly cleanly with not many movers in the order, apart from OG James 96 unfortunate spin at turn 1 but he avoided damage and managed to keep it going. Alpeh then also had a spin later on in the lap which would force him to pit for a new wing.
Was a brilliant early battle for P13 with SLR Hicklin, Lofty 2426 and dRaSt1k bLazE going wheel to wheel.
Gaps were beginning to form between the field with some drivers finding the conditions easier than others.
Wasn’t to much action on track. OG James with a nice move on SLR Hicklin. As the laps ticked by and the weather was due to get better.
Crossover period came over halfway through the race. However the two Alfa’s of JackMull and Kevin went on to fresh set of full wets. Meanwhile just a lap later others started to pit for intermediates. With Masseyf1 now leading once everyone has made the switch. Zachisbeast second and the biggest gainer from the pit stops was Scar B0rga who was now P3 and the top 4/5 drivers were all fairly evenly spread on track.
Meanwhile the fight for P6 was heating up with AWRL Kevin and SLR Barlow challenging SLR Jack with 5 laps to go.
Kevin would make the move and SLR Barlow would follow him through.
Further back Skullkiller would make an opportunistic double overtake on Lofty and Alpeh.
Championship leader Masseyf1 would take the chequered flag extending his lead even further. Zachisbeast 2nd which was the same top 2 at Austria the week before. JackMullCGFC overtook Scar B0rga on the final lap but a time penalty would mean Scar would still take P3. Good drive from Scar who picked up driver of the day. Reserve driver’s SLR ALE And AWRL Kevin P5 and P6 respectively. SLR Jack the biggest gainer on the day from P15 on the grid finished P7. SLR Barlow P8, SLR Leah P9 and dRaSt1k BLaze rounding off the points.

Incident - Charlie vs Drastik Blaze
Outcome - racing incident
Reason - Charlie loses control on his own initially, which causes him to start sliding and leaves blaze with no where to go.
Welcome back to Division 3 season 7 round 9 British GP.
As we go into the weekend we have 16 racers that will be taking part in qualifying. No one has a Qualifying ban in this race so one 1 person will be going out in Q1.
As we go into qualifying the weather was clear through out but in Q1 the track seemed very dark. The qualifying results were; Gregers takes pole, LSW L3G3ND44 P2, G4R3TH P3, ChicknRosery P4, SLR J3st3r P5, Maxwell P6, Vision P7, SLR st2oH P8, Cxmzn P9 and J GEDDES P10.
As chicknRosery has readied up early and causes a lobby restart so they will be start from the back of the field so most people gains 1 position.
As we go to the five red lights after the lobby restart. Gregers gets an excellent start along with G4R3TH who gets past LSW L3G3ND44 at T1 but as we go to T3 J3st3r taps LSW L3G3ND44 into G4R3TH and causes them both to spin and sending to the back of the field. As phantom crashes on the exit of copse and brings out a VSC.
Lap 2; the VSC has gone and they get back to racing again. Gregers has pulled a 1.5 second gap to Maxwell. Further down the field Vision gets past Stevo for P13. As SPR1TLEY has had a spun in maggots and becketts.
Lap 4; As SPR1TLEY has crashed on the exit of the final corner on the Hamilton straight which bring out the first Safety Car. As this helps LSW L3G3ND44 gain some places back. GEDDES, Nealix and G4R3TH have decided to pit of the softs and stick on the mediums which can make it to the end.
Lap 7; the Safety Car is in this lap and Gregers is leading the pack and they wait patiently for when Gregers decides to go. Lap 8; GEDDES losses his car where SPR1TLEY lost his but GEDDES is still in this race but lost out on a lot of positions.
Lap 15; Cxmzn has lost his car on the final corner where we have seen a lot of drivers doing and that brings out a safety car which helps the top 5 as some of them haven’t pitted yet.
Lap 18; Stevo is leading the pack and Gregers behind is trying not to get caught napping as Stevo has chosen to go and Gregers is all over him as they go into T1. As Gregers take the opportunity to get past Stevo down the Wellington straight. Lap 19; LSW L3G3ND44 is the next person to overtake Stevo.
As we are getting closer and closer to the finish LSW L3G3ND44 can’t close the gap to Gregers who has shown some amazing pace and has been in control of this race from start to finish. Gregers will take the top step ad he crosses the line. As the top three are; Gregers P1, LSW L3G3ND44 P2 and ChicknRosery P3
This has been division 3 round 9, please make sure you join us next time where these drivers will tackle the Hungaroring.

LSW L3G3ND44 vs NEDKLAW - Qualifying block
LSW L3G3ND44 is nearing the end of his lap when he approaches NEDKLAW. From the differences in speed, the stewards don’t think that NEDKLAW was on a lap. Therefore the stewards award him with a 10 second time penalty and 2 License Points.
ChicknRosery - Stopping on the formation lap.
The stewards have received clips from drivers where you can see ChicknRosery stopping near the end of the formation lap, creating a gap to the drivers in front. This is not allowed and the stewards award him with a 5 second time penalty and 2 License Points for unsportsmanlike conduct.
LSW L3G3ND44 vs SLR J3st3r - Lap 1
SLR J3st3r has a slightly awkward line going into t3. The stewards believe that this caused him to miss his breaking point and go into the back of LSW L3G3ND44. Despite it being the first lap, the stewards feel that SLR J3st3r is fully responsible for this incident, and will award him with a 10 second time penalty and 2 License Points.
Vision2614 vs G4R3TH - Lap 18
G4R3TH squeezes Vision2614 a bit into turn 7. The stewards do feel that G4R3TH could’ve given Vision2614 more room. However Vision2614 didn’t lose much time. So the stewards feel like a minor pen for G4R3TH would be the right decision. So G4R3TH is awarded with a 5 second time penalty and 1
License Point.
ChicknRosry - readyning up too early
Pretty simple, quali ban for next race due to readying up too early.
