We have our Champions!
Round 17 of the SLR McKeon championship is at Interlagos, Brazil. One of the most enjoyable tracks on the game, fast and flowing with rain very possible here it makes for some of the best races we’ve not only seen in SLR but also in Real life F1 also. With the championships being settled, let’s see how this race will go with everyone having nothing to lose.
Qualifying again was dry and with Rain on the cards for the race, it made the setup call a tricky one. However, BMidzy took the pole position and has another one this season, continuing his rich vein of form going and looking unbelievably quick. Second place was ELiTE x RisKz, who also keeps his performances up and is performing well but I’m sure he is wondering where this was all those weeks ago and maybe he could have contested the championship. Rounding off the top 3 was TMS SORA, who whenever he drives, always pulls out a remarkable lap and this time is no different with the top 3 being very close we have a race on our hands. Honorable mentions would be SLR Medal2533 who gets his best quali start of the season in 4th and has been so consistent all season and this is a result I’m sure he will cherish.
The race as mentioned before was a wet one, but with it supposed to dry out near the end it was a tough call for when to change and any setup change. In the end, it was TMS SORA who took the race win! An impressive race for the Ferrari driver, constantly finding more pace getting more and more fastest laps, and was relentless and took the win by some margin. Second place was BRT Griffiths, it did look like that he would fight SORA for the win but unfortunately the Ferrari was so quick on the day, Griffiths found it hard, and will have to settle for second, still a good result from his qualifying blunder. Rounding off the top 3 was BMidzy, who after his pole position I’m sure isn't too happy about his finish but to have another podium is impressive and definitely sets him up for the next game. With Division 2 drivers being involved in this one, I’d like to say well done to them as they were pretty damn competitive and with J Lee Menz in particular finishing in P7, and is a welcome result for the new McKeon man come the new season.
A race that was full of twists and turns, ended with a clear winner. This would have been the finale but with the Abu Dhabi race planned to be re-done, we will be off to Abu Dhabi to have the final race for the McKeon season. So for one more time this season i hope everyone has an awesome week!

Incident involving LSW L3G3ND44 and F1ABQW3RTY - Lap 13. turn 7
Outcome: 10 second time penalty and 2 licence points to F1ABQW3RTY - L3G3ND is hit from behind and goes into a half spin which sees himself and other drivers pick up damage.

Outcome: 2 licence points to THATGUY for a block in qualifying.
