After a long three week break Formula 2 returned to the screens of SLR and returned with style! In one shot qualifying we saw a new name on pole position! That man being SLR Niki! The flying fin continuing to show more speed in these difficult cars as weeks go by but how would he go in the race? The feature! SLR Niki started the round with an absolute high but went to an absolute low before we even made it to sector 3 in lap 1. Contact with reigning champion ZyDRAD ended any hope of a solid result for the pair for the feature. ZyDRAD would however make a comeback to 9th. Up to the pitstops it was the brothers of Jam, Ham and the brothers of SLR Darnell and SLR Southerner with the pace pulling away from the rest of the pack. Wind forward a dozen laps and the gap between the four had stretched right until the safety car came out. This through a twist into play with some of the harder starting drivers benefitting massively. Four laps of racing remained after the safety car came in which saw Ham lead from Darnell who was carrying a six second pen and close behind was Bennett on a fresh set of softs! Jam opted to pit back on to the softs during the safety car. Last lap Darnell makes a move on Ham at turn 3 where as Ham went to cut back there was contact with Bennett. This resulted in the two losing a bit of time which Southerner took advantage of with just half a lap to go. Crossing the line first on track was SLR Darnell but after the pen Formula 2 saw a brand new winner in SLR Southerner! I can say now there was screaming and cheering!
On to the sprint! God knows what happened in turn 1 but anyway! First half of the race we saw Jam, Ham, Darnell and UKBeastAssassin pulling away with Southerner playing catch up. Hams race was heavily hurt my losing part of his wing colliding into the back of Darnells rear which gave the opportunity for the guys in front to pull away. Which they did. Jam vs Darnell. Guess what though another safety car which through another twist! After the safety car we had 2/3 laps to remain which saw a dual to the end between Jam and Darnell which eventually saw Season one champion Jam take victory by a few tenths. Darnell was a close second with Ham third. Creditable mentions for Raceroller scoring great points despite starting last in the feature and SLR Barlow for scoring points on his full time debut!
Next up Silverstone for where we once again all see the drivers react to those ever dawning five red lights!

SLR Barlow Vs N1GHT RANG3R 95 - spinning another car (Feature lap 17)
Outcome: Racing incident
Reason: Ranger does give Barlow a bit of a whack however this was just ranger simply outbraking himself by mistake so we feel like he can be forgiven and a penalty would be slightly harsh
SLR McKeon Vs SLR Semm - Spinning another car (Feature lap 1)
Outcome: 3LP for Semm due to DNF
Reason: Semm simply outbrakes himself, punts the back of McKeon and spins him out losing McKeon multiple positions
SLR McKeon Vs SLR Semm - Dangerous track re-entry (Feature lap 1)
Outcome: No action taken
Reason: Semm spins out on the exit of the final corner and has a violent collision with the wall. Due to the power he hit the wall at, Semm was not in full control of his car and couldn't help his car coming back onto the track the way it did. Thank god for ghosting otherwise it would of ended much worse.

SLR Scopezz vs N1GHT RANG3R 95 - Contact under formation lap (Sprint)
Outcome: 10 secs + 2LP for ranger
Reason: Although it's not very clear, ranger hits Scopezz on the formation lap and disqualifies both of them so a penalty has to be given.
ZyDRAD Vs l CarIin l - Dangerous driving + damage (Sprint lap 1)
Outcome: Black flag + 7LP + race ban for Carlin
Reason: Carlin thought there was going to be a lobby restart so thought it would be a good idea to straight line turn 1 and ruin multiple people's races. Even if you think there could be a restart, there will not be unless the admins call for one so there is no excuses for what Carlin done. This was absolutely unacceptable driving and we had no choice but to award a very severe penalty.
SLR Semm Vs SLR Russell - Dangerous re-entry onto track (Sprint lap 1)
Outcome: 3LP for Russell due to DNF
Reason: Although Russell does go into the penultimate corner deep, he does not show awareness of where Semm was and unfortunately comes back onto the track dangerously and spins Semm and sends him into the pits
ZyDRAD Vs N1GHT RANG3R 95 - Collision under VSC (sprint lap 1)
Outcome: Racing incident
Reason: After reviewing rangers POV, it shows him having an illegal overtake on Cameron, there is also the VSC happening at the same time so ranger has had to drastically slow down to let him back through. It's unfortunate for ZyDRAD to pick up the 5 second pen but we don't think ranger could of done much.
