Qualifying for round 8 of Season 9 was underway and on his third try, BRT Griffiths breaks the all-time record of most pole positions (20 now) for our reigning champion as he returns to the front of the grid. Benster had a qualifying to forget as he would start at the back of the field. SLR Darnell and SLR Southerner would round out the top 3, but BaggieFan would be the star of Qualifying as he would put his Van Amsersfoort P4, looking to confirm his place as the final spot for the F2 evo showdown.
The sprint race had an all-Rodin Carlin front row with UKBeastAssassin leading the way, this wouldn’t last long though as Coupe A Benz got snowploughed into the second chicane and thrown down the order. Trident’s SLR Medal would take full advantage of this by taking the lead of the race, the master when it comes to sprint races is SLR Medal. Benster was making up for an awful qualifying, flying his way through the field and pulling some excellent switchback moves through turn 2 on multiple occasions. BRT Griffiths would get past SLR Southerner late on to take the final podium spot away from SLR Southerner. Out in front though, SLR Medal had the drive of a champion. Taking another sprint race victory and a dominant one to be exact. Benster from the back of the grid would come home 2nd place and BRT Griffiths rounding out the podium.
The feature race began with BRT Griffiths getting a mega getaway with the two Darnell brothers scrapping it out in the opening corners with the PHM of Southerner later being under threat from F1ABQW3RTYYY in the opening laps. Griffiths cleared off out in front after a tough round at SPA, was looking to make up for it at Monza. SLR Darnell was pushing the limits and over the limits unfortunately of his HiTech car, as he got multiple track limit penalties, ultimately ruining his chances of a podium. It was a double whammy for the Darnell brothers as the other of SLR Southerner was experiencing connection issues, losing multiple places including to the DAMS of F1 ABQW3RTYYY who was now seeing himself in a podium place. Griffiths waited long enough but the record has been equalled. 38 SLR F2 race victories for BRT Griffiths as he equals the great SLR Ham on race wins. Benster did all the damage limitation he could, a pair of 2nd places helps extends PHM Racing’s lead at the top of the constructors' championship and F1ABQW3RTYYY take a bow, an amazing drive from the DAMS driver, making the most of everything going on around him, keeping his cool and getting the reward of a 3rd place finish.
Another weekend over and done with then, BRT Griffiths once again extending his lead in the drivers with PHM once again outscoring ART Grand Prix. Blogs driver of the round: F1ABQW3RTYYY – A solid Qualifying from the DAMS as he put his car 5th on the grid for the feature. The sprint race saw the DAMS driver show his excellent pace and skill, performing some mega moves and crossing the line in 6th place for some decent points. The feature wasn’t too different, staying out of trouble and making the most of other's misfortunes, F1ABQW3RTYYY came home 3rd place for a superb podium for him and the DAMS team.

Badotter moves right onto the racing line with little to no awareness to SLR Darnell after making previous contact with him out of T2 so he knows Darnell is still somewhat alongside in result this causes major wing damage.

Verdict: 5 second and 1 LP to BadOtterTV (BadOtterTV retired in the pitlane so penalty is converted to 2 LP)
Following on from the incident above BadOtterTV lights up his rears when rejoining to the track making contact with Coupe a Benz.
