Callum McKeon Memorial

Before we put our focus into launching the final race report of the season, we want to dedicate the intro and subsequent sections to one of our own, Callum McKeon (SLR McKeon), who we sadly lost on Sunday morning.

Callum was an instrumental player in the functions and day-to-day of SLR, serving as an admin and racer in Division 1 and in Formula 2, head steward in elite as well as discord leader. Outside of the cockpit, Callum was a close friend to so many on the server, as he shared his time with great company and entertainment, a key player in the community. People have been sharing stories about how influential Callum has been to them, the light that shines and the one idolised, a true leader who shared his passions with us, his interests with us, and his dedication to the server and the general league racing community does not go unnoticed, and will forever be commemorated to him.

Inside the helmet, Callum was always a fierce racer, bringing new energy and speed to the track, a proven winner and competitor, but also, one who had time for others, was quick to diffuse situations and strike peace, the first to voice concern and advocate improvement. As drivers and community members share their stories of how impactful and infectious Callum’s spirit was, it was unique to see that there was always a huge level of respect between himself and his competition. He would be quick to message them, showing his support, or offering wisdom and guidance, was always willing to share his insight to others.

I want to also invite others to share their time and stories of Callum, as we remember him as a guy who loved his racing, this community, and sport. There is a greeting card where you can publish your own message and share your experiences. The power to unite under the darkest times shows the true stability of the league and wider communities, and although the circumstances for this come in hard tragedy, Callum would love the united front to continue as we head into the season’s ahead and within future projects.

Outside of the community, everyone at SLR have extended their condolences to Callum’s partner Chloe, their 3 children, and their family and friends in this dark time, but also that his imprint in the SLR community will never be forgotten, and will be commemorated appropriately, as his legacy will forever be engrained in SLR history.

This coming weekend, SLR organisers have set up and invited the community to a justgiving page, which helps Callum’s family with financial costs and assistance, which will be used as they see most appropriate, and also a racing event that will be hosted at a track that Callum had shared success at. This provides drivers to bid a final farewell to one of the league’s most committed, and driven members. There will be selective colour schemes and driver number in which best represents Callum’s memory, this will be discussed on the server at a later date.

The league would also like to publish Callum’s stat card within this post to share his successes within SLR disciplines with his competitors, as we revel with our own personal triumphs, we can also share celebrations with Callum who was a really quick, consistent and ruthless driver on his day:

Drivers have shared their clips and screenshots of them and Callum in action across the season and have attached the final celebrations that were at Abu Dhabi on Friday, and I feel it was poignant to include these clips, as the division one grid looked on to Haas 95, doing donuts and celebrating the season, we never knew we would be bidding our farewells this soon. Ride High 95, and Rest in Peace Callum.

- Riggs

The picture at the top of this report is a moment that on friday annoyed me and a couple others at the time. Simply because after the donuts we were supposed to line up on the grid for a nice end of the season picture but we never got that picture because one person decided to do some donuts infront of that lined up grid. Im know happy thats the picture we got because the guy doing donuts was everyones friend Callum Mckeon. That picture now says more than a thousand words to me, in a way its very beautiful that his last moment in SLR was doing donuts infront of his division 1 competitors. We were all just sitting there watching and although no-one knew it that was Callums last moment in SLR, it was the best way to give someone a send off without knowing it and it definitely was a moment that will stick with me forever. Its been a pleasure racing with you in SLR for multiple seasons and even fighting for a championship with you and SLR Southerner, always such a nice guy and a fair racer you have made everyones experience in SLR better. And even though im not sure ive understood the fact that you are not here anymore you are definitely missed. Hope you are happy racing with Senna, Fangio, Moss and other legends in heaven, i know all of us will join u some time in the future, even if its 80 years away you will have a chance to meet the SLR boys again.

- SotierClock110

Where do I start in the amazing time knowing Callum it was clear and obvious to me of what an incredible guy he was. My thoughts go out to his loved ones. You opened yourself up to all of us and showed your great character always making sure we knew when we were doing well or giving us a natural hint to make us do better. When getting to know you I learnt one of your favourite things to do was watch Cars with your 3 amazing children. A song I will remember you by will be Life is a Highway and the title honours you greatly always giving us the reassurance to take the better roads to higher and better outcomes. Miss you loads already fly high my brother rest in peace.

- SLR Liamm

I still can’t get my head around it, and I can’t believe that I’m writing this at all. It feels so numb and empty knowing that Callum is no longer here. We may not have seen eye to eye every time our have our heated exchanges on track, but we never let that get in the way of our passion and determination to play our parts. We barely kept up outside of the racing, but when we talked, we always had a laugh and great respect for each other. I am sad hearing the news, but I wish to share my condolences to his partner Chloe, their children, and the family, as well as those in SLR and League racing he was extremely close to. He had genuine wealth in passion, commitment, and energy for sport and for our league racing experiences, and I’m glad that we got to share these together. Rest Easy Callum

- Riggs

Before we begin the final race report of season 5, I would like to dedicate this report and entire weekend to a man who we tragically lost on Sunday, Callum McKeon. Callum was an incredibly valued member of the SLR community, being a discord leader, head steward, division 1 and F2 admin, division 1, F2, and realistic driver. He was truly loved by everyone in the SLR community, and he always found a way to promote positivity and wellness during the darkest times for some of our members. We will always cherish our memories and friendships with Callum, and we pray for his girlfriend, Chloe, and their 3 beautiful children. If you haven’t checked it out, please be sure to share and donate the justgiving page we have set up to help support Callum’s family, as well as tuning in for his memorial race this Saturday. Thank you everybody, please continue to keep Callum and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

God bless

- Freeman

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another race report, this time for the final Elite race of season 5, Abu Dhabi! It was a great race to send off season 5 and opening the doors for season 6, so let’s dive into the results!

HamJam2002 took another win to round off a very solid season, finishing 2nd in the championship. Crispy2002 recovered from 5th to take 2nd, marginally missing out on P3 in the championship. Xx JamHam xX dropped down from pole to round out the podium. V2 x Combat made the one stop strategy work to take P4, with TommyReal rounding out the top 5. Raceroller22 fell down to P6, with bezzas1 and gh03t COLT in P7 and P8. Rounding out our top 10 was MeRkz47 in his final elite race and R1ggs8 taking his first point in Elite on his debut.

UkBeastAssassin finished just outside of the points in P11, with SLR Vandoorne in P12 and SLR Southerner in P13 in his final Elite race. PaRa Quickz finished P14 with PSR Freeman’s AI in 15th after having major internet issues, a disappointing way to say goodbye to SLR. In his return, SLR Darnell finished 16th, with LP Smoke in 17th and SLR Cech making his Elite debut in 18th. Our non-finishers were SLR Rando and ZyDRAD, also in his final Elite race.

That does it for season 5 in Elite folks! It was a great season and I hope you all enjoyed it!

Thank you to everybody who has raced in SLR over these last 5 seasons, it has been thoroughly enjoyable for myself and I hope you all have enjoyed your time here. This is my final race report for Elite and my final day on the job, so I just would like to say a massive thank you once again for welcoming me in with open arms and allowing me to see each and every one of you have a key role in SLR. It’s been an absolute pleasure racing and working with you all over the past 5 seasons, and I wish nothing but the best for you all going forward!

The concluding race report, as already attached, brings tragic news and understanding of Callum’s passing, and it does nullify the use of a final race report, so we will keep this one relatively brief, as we commemorate Callum for his raw energy and speed, as well as leadership style and wit.

Abu Dhabi hosted the final race of the SLR Division 1 championship and while the drivers was concluded last time out in some…circumstances, the constructors battle was the headlining event as we headed to the middle east once again, and it was a battle between Mercedes and Williams for top honours in the constructors.

While those two were the key constructors going into Abu Dhabi, it was Renault who claimed pole position, Riggsey x with a stellar time of a 1:32.787, and it was SLR Dylan who joined him on the front row, exactly +0.2s behind, and the only drivers to be in the 1:32s. Season 6 Champion Brindyboi67 lined up 3rd, after a skittish exit off Turn 21 in the final runs, seen him miss out on a potential pole, and set a 1:33.071

The strategy was split down the middle, as drivers were not entirely sure what way was fastest around the Abu Dhabi circuit, and with the grid of 16, 8 started on the softs, and 8 on the mediums, including Riggsey x, who set his Q2 time on mediums. The 5 lights would come on and go out for the final time in season 6, and it was SLR Dylan, on the dirtier side of the track, getting the cleaner launch and with an early dart to the middle of the track by the Renault to prevent the loss of the lead, it was no match for SLR Dylan, who managed to hook it up, and assume the lead into T1. While the Mercedes was getting the clean launch, it was Brindyboi67 bogging down on the start, getting swamped by Xx Allen xX and JibJab off the start.

Drivers would shuffle up and down the grid as SLR Dylan led, and immediately put the Mercedes into the offensive, burning the battery to generate a gap between himself and Riggsey x, as Brindy began fighting his way back up following his slow start. The Williams would go for a late braking move into T11 at the end of DRS straight 2 on Xx Allen xX, but would already find themselves 2s off the top 2 as they charged ahead.

SLR Dylan was throwing everything at his car to try and build the gap from Riggsey x, and this was evident in the battery usage, but while the speed was there to go faster than fellow soft runners, it was no match for the Renault on the mediums, as the yellow walled tyres would start coming into play. SLR Semm would be the next driver on the mediums after creeping into the top 10 early on, and had a 2.8s gap to Darren 22 in P7. SLR McKeon would find himself locked in battle with Xx Allen xX and Darren 22, both making debuts after strong showings in division 2 over this season, testing their speed in D1, and giving one of the D1 veterans a real test of skill and ability as the softs would slowly drop off. This would force SLR McKeon into an early undercut window, pitting on Lap6

With the early window being triggered, it would allow the 2 division 2 drivers to show their racecraft as they had free air to battle each other and would soon have SLR Semm for close company as the mediums really came to full strength. SLR Dylan would also pit on Lap7, which would give Riggsey x clean air to push and go long on the mediums, and with Brindy and Jibjab on worn softs, the Renault driver would go into management mode and stabilise gaps

The first caution would come out for Elite Risks as he would lose the car on T3 on lap 7, as the car would go light at the rear and send him into the wall and into an early retirement. This brought out the VSC, and nullified any undercut SLR Dylan was trying to make on the leader. Brindyboi67 and Jibjab were the only two not to pit that started on softs, extending their stints and looking to slot into the one stop window and also into clean air, as traffic would prove to be the thorn in the sides of so many.

ARL PReDaToRZz and SLR Liam would enjoy some hard battling for P7 as drivers would pit onto a new set of tyres, as both would look to also go long on the mediums and hope for a caution to slot them into a prime position. SLR Dylan would need to go through the traffic as Brindyboi and Jibjab would see, and feel their tyres go completely off the cliff, as the mediums started having the rub of the green in the later stages of the first stint.

Riggsey x began pulling the gap by 1s per lap out front, showing that the softs had gone off, as well as the Renault driver wanting to bridge any gaps as the pressures would begin to mount. Jibjab would close the gap up to Brindy and both would pit together at the end of lap 11, both onto the mediums to the end. This promoted SLR Semm up to P2, and SLR Dylan slots into a healthy window in P3.

SLR Dylan would soon close in and pass SLR Semm for P2 and soon close down the 8s gap to Riggsey x, and with the fresh rubber, the gap was closed by 3s a lap, showing that the mediums Riggsey was on, were really past their best, and by the end of lap 16, SLR Dylan was right on the gearbox of the Renault, and with the tyres on the Renault in puncture range, Riggsey x couldn’t take chances, and pitted at the end of Lap16, and SLR Semm, who was on a similar strategy, followed suit. This would put them both on fresh softs and their speed would be showcased with a light car and a track at peak condition.

SLR Dylan extended his medium run while Riggsey x would have to cut back through traffic and hoped the Renault would be slowed down, and soon found himself right behind Jibjab, Xx Allen xX and Brindy, who were hard at work racing each other hard, and Dylan would pit on Lap 20, ending up only 4s behind the net lead, and at this point, looked to be the favourite for the victory. Riggs would get a strong slipstream and pass jibjab into the braking zone at T8 as he looked to put as many cars between himself and SLR Dylan as he could. SLR McKeon, SLR Semm, Darren 22, Bennett628 and TIR Jason all locking horns in a massive battle for P5, and with all on different tyres and strategies, it was anybody’s guess to understand how this would go. Darren 22 managed to get a beautiful switchback on Semm and McKeon who were focused on each other into the chicane, and the McLaren would look to the outside into the triple chicane, but the Haas would remain firm in defence, rolling the car out to the edge, and forcing the McLaren into concession, however, resumed their fight at the hairpin the following lap, finally passing on the outside, but immense overspeed by the AlphaTauri of Xx Allen xX looked to be breaking all kinds of speed records as they went late on the brakes, but McKeon not giving an inch, resumed the battle once again down the second DRS Straight, and once again, McKeon getting the elbows out.

Riggsey would also get past Brindyboi for the lead, and SLR Dylan was rapid as the Mercedes looked to be the strongest on speed at this stage, but the top 4 in a class of their own in front, and Dylan looked to make a late move into T11 on Brindy, and the Williams was stubborn in defence, with the Mercedes yielding, but with the yielding, came a mismeasurement on throttle, sending the Mercedes into a spin, and sending any chances of a race win, to the bin, a hard one to take for the Mercedes driver who has had relative success throughout, and looked to be on the right strategy and executing it well.

Dylan’s mistake would see it become a 2 driver shootout for the race win, with Riggsey x on aging softs, and Brindyboi67 on aging mediums, the champion began chasing the runner up, the gap at 1.2 seconds, and with 4 laps remaining, it really was the question of, whether the softs would hold on the Renault, or would they drop off and allow the Williams in for a final race win. With the gaps seesawing between the two teams, it was definitely going to the wires.

As the gap at the front was shifting all the time, it was just narrowly out of range for DRS and the race win out of reach, as it would be Riggsey x to cross the line in 1st place to collect his 5th win of the season, with Brindyboi67 in second place, and Jibjab securing 3rd and Driver of the Day along with his podium. Despite Dylan making that error late on, and a P4 finish, it was still enough to secure championship glory for the Brackley outfit.

Season Review

This season has been thoroughly exhilarating throughout and has brought its own twists and turns throughout, a Championship battle that went all the way to the penultimate round, Brindyboi67 crossing the line with a puncture at Interlagos can be his signature move in claiming championships, alongside a dominant period through Baku, Canada and France, where he would secure a hattrick of dubs, would set him well underway into SLR folklore.

From Brindy winning the chip, it also had pleasant showings from Division 2 arrivals, Bennett628, who would become renowned for his race starts and solid pace, with pole in China and P2 at Zandvoort early in the season showing just what he could bring in the future, to SLR Semm, a 3x winner and championship contender for 75% of the season, shows that if consistency can come even a fraction more, there’s opportunity to add wins. And SLR Rando, who we never saw much of, but a win in Vietnam and the quickest time in qualifying at Zandvoort throughout all 4 divisions, he would soon see himself racing against SLR’s best.

Blossoming starts from Mercedes and McLaren in the season showcased a titanic battle being lined up all season long, but with Brindyboi67 and Cechthisout finding momentum early, and after a slow start by Riggsey x in Renault, it really did become a mouthwatering championship battle that took more swings than me playing a round of golf, and through it all, became prime entertainment for everyone in the SLR bubble, and the twitch communities.

We’ve had dominated drives, such as Brindyboi67 in Baku, Canada and Russia, to SillyBunny4711 and SLR Dylan masterminding a Mercedes 1-2 in Belgium, Riggsey x showing control in Italy to really spearhead a championship push in the flyaways, and SLR Rando looking cool, calm and collected in Vietnam early on.

We’ve also had drivers being pushed to their limits, with close fights for the win throughout, such as SLR Semm vs SLR McKeon in China, to Riggsey x vs SLR Semm, battling for victory in a monsoon in Mexico, not on track, but against the stopwatch, which would produce a grand slam finish decided by a mere tenth.

We’ve had rain more often than not this season, and with the rain, Brindyboi67 and Riggsey x would battle it out in Britain for the win, to Mexico being borderline undriveable and spray making it a race of instinctive awareness rather than vision itself. America is a prime factor of rain throwing the strategies for a double 6 as it looked to be Mercedes perfecting the alternate strategy in COTA, but it would play into the hands of polesitter Riggsey x, who throughout the season, had the rain play to his strengths with wins in Monza, Singapore, and the United States, where changeable conditions were the order of the day.

We’ve also seen strategy become a dominant player within Division 1 and the season as a whole, from SLR McKeon undercutting everyone like it was going out of style in the United States, really put him into a prime winning margin after a timeless Q3 and P10 start, would see him finish P2 in the end, a position that looked so unlikely hadn’t he not pulled the trigger on the undercut and determining conditions. To Riggsey x making a lasting overcut work at Zandvoort, which has become a track famed for qualifying more than the race due to lacking overtaking opportunities, as traffic helped the Renault driver assume the race lead and overcut strategy to perfection. Strategy has been the core component to race wins and strong finishes this season, and long may the mystique of strategy continue in SLR and on Formula One Platforms

We’ve also had drivers who have upped their game significantly throughout the course of this season, as we look to strive further and aim to be the best we can be. Jibjab325 secured his first league racing victory in SLR at the Hungaroring after a flawless, penalty free drive, which became the staple of his improvement and positive trajectory in SLR, and with a victory in Brazil following a “Circumstance”, as well as pushing eventual champion Brindy to his wit’s end, we really feel we have seen a massive improvement. ARL PReDaToRZz, who we don’t normally see at the front of the grid on quali days, we have become familiar seeing his clean drives and consistency propel him into healthy points positions, with his highlights coming in the wet, becoming a driver known for his wet drives throughout the season, and a podium at Mexico shows that on his day, he is one of the few drivers to keep it within the lines and never lose his cool in the monsoon and adverse conditions, and continues to have a podium at least once in a season in SLR, a personal achievement he can hold high.

We’ve also had drivers who may not have had the best luck this season, but know that there is always room to improve and another season to get back on the horse and go again. Season 5 runner up Sotierclock110 may not have had the season he would’ve hoped, but with a strong showing at his happy hunting ground in Monaco, as well as a late season podium in Japan can definitely be something to boost the pride and morale going into the next season. SLR Liam showed stunning pace at the course of last season’s conclusion, but with the short straw being drown more than the one occasion, the season end can probably not come at a better time for the head admin, but while he may no have the luck on track, the racing wouldn’t be possible without the endless stint he does to make sure everybody gets a race on the Friday night.

The season has well and truly came to an end, and while we all have our personal strengths and achievements that we can all celebrate and be jubilant over, it is understandable that this may not be the main focus right now following the news and subsequent events of Callum’s passing. Callum would want us to be proud of what we have achieved this season, what experiences we have had, good and the bad, everybody can be proud of how their season has went. Do not let yourselves believe it isn’t the time to be happy for yourselves, because we aim to improve and be better drivers, and better people at the end of the day. The news definitely does deter this understandably, but you can be proud of your progress, we all shared the track with him, we shared the same wealth in passion to race and compete, to commit to this season and race, we shared his passions and success, we are allowed to share ours, because I know, he would be proud of the positivity that we all have about our seasons, and we also share the same sadness in this news, and this is where I sign off for the season, and we sign off Haas 95, Rest in Peace Callum

This week was a feel good weekend in Division Two; both titles were already won, nothing really to play for, so everyone was just racing for one final time as a group.

Pole was set by Darren l 22, who was one of the lucky few who were able to race in Division One on Friday for a little extra experience.

There was a lot of carnage at the start however and we had a lot of stops early on with a very early safety car. This meant those who started on the mediums and kept out of trouble, specifically SLR EVVO and OwenHowell36, rose up the order massively. In fact, they were the leading two after starting 11th and 17th respectively!

In the end Darren l 22 showed just how quick he was and got a great lead, and ended up winning by 12 seconds! OwenHowell36 took P2 on his one stop from P17, and it was SLR Barlow who completed the podium.

TRC AlfieDK - Retiring on track (lap 25)

Outcome: No Further Action

Reason: After a thorough investigation, it was discovered that Alfie had been suffering from problems with his accelerator pedal throughout the event, with it jamming on for periods while off throttle. However this was an issue he managed in the duration of the event until both throttle and brake pedals disconnected on lap 21. He then gained back control shortly after, only to lose them again moments later. He tried multiple times to coast it back to the pit lane to retire using the AI, but was then instructed to retire on the track by the Head Admin, so therefore the stewards see little point in penalising the driver in question. However, we do recommend that all drivers check their equipment before starting events.

OG James 96 vs SLR EVVO - Illegal overtake under VSC (lap 1)

Outcome: Final warning to all drivers.

Reason: The VSC comes out while the drivers are side by side at the start. However, the stewards believe EVVO could have taken advantage of an in-game glitch in order to pass James whereby the game allows for a few seconds to allow people to react to the VSC. Not that we cannot decipher for sure. This is because there’s no in-game mechanic to shuffle drivers up and down according to precisely their position when the VSC is deployed. Therefore, the stewards have decided to give EVVO the benefit of the doubt on this occasion citing reasonable reaction time, and not jamming on the brakes which could’ve endangered drivers behind. But in future, drivers will be punished if it is deemed that they have taken advantage of an in-game mechanic to gain positions under VSC or SC’s.

OG James 96 vs LSW L3G3ND44 - spinning another car (lap 8)

Outcome: 15s + 3LP awarded to LSW L3G3ND44 for spinning OG James 96.

Reason: into the triple turn chicane, Legend appears to be battling another car, misjudges his positioning to James in front who he is not battling, and pivots his car around at the second apex.

Zachisbeast25 - excessive corner cutting (qualifying)

Outcome: 3LP awarded to Zachisbeast25

Reason: Clear infringement of the rules regarding track limits abuse.

Drast1k Blaze vs SLR Morgan - forcing another driver off track/illegal overtake (lap 20)

Outcome: 5s + 1LP awarded to SLR Morgan.

Reason: Morgan makes an ambitious move down the inside into the hotel section. He 1, makes contact and forces Blaze off circuit, and 2, doesn’t make the corner and keeps the position afterwards. Poor driving standards from Morgan, and is lucky not to cause damage etc.

Now that the season is done, on behalf of the Div 2 stewarding team I’d like to thank all of the stewards, admins, and LO’s for making this season of racing possible. As I depart, I’d like to wish you all the best for next season, and I hope you all welcome in the new Head of Div 2 stewarding by giving them a true wreckfest to deal with ;)

Besh wishes,

Adam (ARL Tooman)

The final race of division 3 at the Yas Marina circuit brought a final race showdown for the title between SLR Dodgy

and SLR Hyperz with both in contention for the title. After numerous issues with the lobby the format was changed

for qualifying to a short 18-minute shoot out session and it was SLR Dodgy who took pole position for the race with

SLR Charlie1 taking P2 on the grid. The second row of the grid was made up by recent qualifying expert Lofty4794

with SLR J3st3r in P4. SLR Hyperz was down in P6 which meant he had some work to do at the start. The start of the

race was a chain reaction of incidents after T1 as multiple drivers were involved in collisions and spins into T2. SLR

Hyperz appeared to come the worst off from the initial incidents as he ended up at the back in P18 with a lap 1

safety car called into action which swung the championship pendulum immediately into SLR Dodgy`s favour. The

lap1 issues saw multiple time penalties given out and several drivers pick up damage with 8 drivers making

early pitstops. After the first lap issues SLR Hyperz found himself back into P10 from the back giving him a slim

chance of making up the ground needed. Lap4 and the race restarted as SLR Dodgy led the field with I Cxmzn I in P2

and I21I Maxwell in P3. It didn’t take long before the second safety car was called on lap5 as both I Cxzmn I and SLR

Russell crashed out at the exit of T3 both retiring from the race which also caught SLR J3st3r out as he collided with

I Cxmzn I and ended his own race meaning 3 drivers out in one incident. The SC then triggered multiple pitstops for

medium tyres as both SLR Dodgy and SLR Hyperz made stops as SLR St20h was the new race leader.

Lap 8 and the race got underway again with SLR Dodgy in P10 and SLR Hyperz in P15 in the championship battle. At the front

GrumpyOrange976 made a great move into P1 in sector 3 past SLR St20h as SLR Charlie1 was up into P3. SLR Colden

then took a spin ahead of the final corner crashing out of the race from P7 ending his race as SLR Dodgy made his

way into P7 on the next lap with SLR Hyperz down in P11. SLR Hyperz then took a spin in sector 2 as he was pushed

back into P13 and the race was not going in his favour at this point. At the end of lap 10 SLR Hyperz then came in to

repair wing damage as Baggiefan1995 was the next victim of T3 as he crashed out which triggered a VSC. After

receiving a speeding penalty under VSC SLR Hyperz then retired from the race meaning the championship title was

going to SLR Dodgy. More drama then followed at the front of the field as Lofty4794 lost control of the car after T1

as he was looking to pressure GrumpyOrange976 in P1 crashing out and ending his race. This brought out safety car

number 3 and it was only lap 11. Lap 14 and SLR charlie1 got the race underway again with SLR Dodgy chasing in P2

and x J Geddes x in P3 as SLR Dolphin took a spin at T3 but was able to continue.

GrumpyOrange976 was making moves up through the field. Lap 15 and GrumpyOrange976 was a man on a mission as he made up 3 places in 1 lap

up into P3 passing SLR Gareth, C0w3n and x J Geddes x in the process as C0w3n made a move into P4 past

x J Geddes x. Race leader SLR Charlie1 then made a final pitstop on lap 19 as he came in for softs as SLR Dodgy

continued on the mediums with GrumpyOrange976 in P2 and I21I Maxwell in P3. By the end on lap 21 SLR Charlie1

was making progress and made a move into P4 past SLR Stevooo as he was chasing down the leaders. SLR Dodgy and

GrumpyOrange976 then both pitted onto the soft tyres at the end of lap 22 but in doing so pushed I21I Maxwell into

P1 with SLR Charlie1 back up into P2 as SLR Dodgy returned in P3. By lap 23 there was a 4-way battle for P4 as SLR

Stevooo was being hunted down by C0w3n, SLR Gareth and GrumpyOrange976. GrumpyOrange976 once again

making awesome overtakes as he took P5 at the hairpin and set his sights on C0w3n in P4. Meanwhile SLR Dodgy

then made a move on I21I Maxwell in sector 3 to take P2 as he set his sights on chasing down SLR Charlie1 in P1 with

4 laps to go. Lap 24 and GrumpyOrange976 just kept going with the overtakes as he past C0w3n at the end of the

DRS straight.

With 3 laps to go the gap at the front was less than 2 seconds as SLR Charlie1 was pushing for his first

win with SLR Dodgy in chase. GrumpyOrange976 then made yet another overtake into P3 as he past I21I Maxwell.

Lap 27 then saw C0w3n make the move into P4 past I21I Maxwell as he was trying to stay within 3 second range of

GrumpyOrange976 for the podium. The final lap then saw SLR Dodgy get back up into P1 on the first DRS straight as

he took the position from SLR Charlie1 who had led most of the race. At the chequered flag it was championship

winner SLR Dodgy that took P1 with SLR charlie1 in P2 and C0w3n who sneaked a podium in P3. Despite many

overtakes it was grumpyOrange976 who settled for P4, I21I Maxwell was P5, SLR Gareth P6, SLR Dolph1n P7, SLR

St20h P8, SLR Stevooo P9 and x J Geddes x rounded it off in P10. SLR Dodgy is the new SLR Division 3 champion!!!!
