Welcome to the Race Report for this week at Spain, as we saw Formula 2, Division 2, Division 3 and then finally the McKeon Division race around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya For Round 8 of the Season 12! You can find the F2 report on the previous blog, but below you can find all of the results from this weekend's F1 races.
Before we get underway with the report, I'd like to personally say welcome to everyone who has joined the league over the past couple of weeks, and whether you're brand new or returning from before, we hope you enjoy your time here in SLR. It's great to see 3 almost full grids this week; a vast improvement from previous weeks and hopefully we see everyone stick around for the foreseeable future. Without further ado, let's get underway with the classifications!

Incident involving SLR Corey and raceroller22 - NFA.
The stewards believe that Corey has left sufficient room and the initial contact has caused his car to unsettle, by the time Corey has regained control contact has already been made for a second time and therefore there was nothing more that Corey could’ve done.
Division 2
Upon entering the paddock for round 8 of the season there was a surprise for the drivers with the return of last season's champion Scar Borga to the grid. A move that has divided opinion for sure.
Scar did not waste any time in placing his newly acquired Red Bull near the front taking P2 in qualifying. Only bettered by OwenHowell36 who claimed pole by a mere 0.058. In what proved to be an incredibly tight qualifying the top 11 were separated by half a second and the entire field split was just over a second.
Owen's race woes continued before the drivers even made it through turn 1 as both Scar and UKBeastAssassin managed to jump him off the start.
With the Aston Martin of harveui ending up in the wall on lap 8 the safety car was deployed to clean up the mess. All the driver bar three, UKBeastAssassin, OwenHowell36 and TIRCODZILLA used this as an opportunity to pit for fresh tyres. There was a mixture of fresh tyres thrown on with some looking at the possibility of dragging a set of hard tyres to the end and some going for mediums so needing another pit stop.
It proved to be the wrong decision by the three who remained out on old tyres as they tumbled down the order quickly. Scar capitalised quickly to take the lead but closely behind is Pricey who has been in brilliant form recently. On lap 17 Pricey was able to pounce and take the lead of the race off Scar.
Lap 22 Scar, SLR Mash and GoldenEggFryer decided to dive into the pits aiming to undercut anyone who may pit again and have the fresh rubber to catch anyone aiming to take their hard tyres 25 laps after pitting under the safety car back on lap 8.
Our first retirement of the race came on lap 25 when Ellis37 crashed his Ferrari into the pit wall. This brought out a VSC which gave plenty of drivers the chance to pit onto softs for a sprint to the end. Adrian VIII decided to remain out, giving himself a 7 second lead over the chasing drivers of Scar and Pricey. Pricey pit under the VSC and came out just behind Scar.
Pricey wasted no time at all in utilsing the fresh rubber to get past Scar and begin reeling Adrian in at a rate of knots. Come lap 30 Pricey had completed the overtake for the lead and now just had to keep it on track to finally secure his first win of the season after coming close in recent weeks.
As the final lap begins Scar overtakes Adrian into turn 1 for second place and all eyes turn to see if Adrian can hold onto that third place with TCP Coutinho 10 and THATGUY691244 gaining quickly behind on fresher softs.
Pricey crosses the line to claim his first race win of the season, Scar B0rga on his return takes the second spot on the podium and it is Adrian who manages to claim third with a bold decision not to pit again.

Incident involving Beast and QW3RTY - 5 second time penalty and 1 licence point to QW3RTY for spinning another car.
QW3RTY hits the back of Beast going through turn 3 causing him to spin.
Incident involving Mash and QW3RTY - NFA.
The stewards deem this as hard but fair racing, there doesn’t appear to be a divebomb and the move made was clean.
