Mystery Tracks, Mystery Winners! F1 Round 7


Welcome to Round 7 of the 14th Season of SLR, and with the half way point about to be reached and a week break on the horizon, who was able to make the best in roads as we had a mystery circuit round! With a potential of 12 different tracks everyone was hoping the same thing... Not Monaco - and spoiler alert, one of the divisions got it! Let's find out how it all panned out!

Ticket # 402 - Lap 29 incident involving SLR Ham19, RSF1 Invade & SLR Jam40

Verdict: 5s + 1LP to RSF1 Invade for abusing ghosting

Detail: The stewards agreed that there was not a lot that Jam could do in the scenario as Ham had his moment right in front of him, however Invade had a lot more time to avoid ghosting through Ham, and decided to stay inside of him to get the slipstream from Jam and get the easy position on Ham. Therefore the penalty has been applied.


Ticket # 403 - Lap 13 incident involving MattCoper97 & SLR Jam40

Verdict: 5s + 1LP to SLR Jam40

Detail: Jam carries too much speed through the corner compared to those ahead, and spins MattCoper round.


Ticket # 404 - Lap 13 incident involving RSF1 Invade & RazzaGamerHD

Verdict: No Further Action

Detail: The stewards agreed that although Razza is not directly behind Invade, he is never alongside him. Invade then got held up by the cars ahead and Razza got a better restart, which then got him alongside and then made the move.

Ticket # 400 - Lap 30 incident involving Echo3x3 - Penalty Removal request

Verdict: Removal Request denied, penalty stands.

Detail: Whilst the penalty has been awarded for an illegal overtake on a lapped car, Echo also unnecessarily overtakes Dodgy before the line in the same clip, which is an illegal overtake, as you cannot overtake drivers before the line on a SC restart and Dodgy is not driving unduly slowly. Therefore, Echo's penalty will stand.


Ticket # 401 - Lap 31 incident involving SLR Hicklin, SLR Dodgy & IAC Lambo

Verdict: 5s + 1LP to IAC Lambo

Detail: Lambo overcorrects his car when straightening it out of the exit of Turn 5, moving slightly into Dodgy which then causes the collision between them and Hicklin.

... SLR Dodgy (45th) could reach 600 points if they score 4 points.
