Division 1
Viva La Mexico!
Round 18 of the championship takes us to Mexico for the Mexican Grand Prix. Such a tricky track, with many corners to catch you out and one where you need to have complete faith in your car to head the timing sheets.
Qualifying was an up and down session for all, but it was f1kiki who took pole position! Only 0.040 ahead of the new champion of Leviking16, showing this will be a close race between those two. Rounding off the top 3 to start the race was ShutMedal! Only 0.086 away from Kiki. With how close the qualifying was, this will be a great race to watch.
The race now, and with 2 VSCs and an SC it really was a race where you had to be in it to win it and in the end, it was Leviking16 in the end who would take another win in his wonderful season in Division 1. In 2nd place, was KevinGT9389 who fought the Aston Martin driver the entire way finishing only 0.389 away from Levi showing he has tested Levi the entire race Kevin did a great job to try and win this race. Rounding off the podium was f1kiki, who from starting in 1st will feel like he could have fought with the top two but will take another podium. Another notable drive was MeRkz47 who from 14th finished in 4th place, what a drive from the Haas man and turns a quali bam into a top 4.
Thrilling race throughout, but one with a result we are very familiar with, next week we are off the land of the carnival, Brazil. A historic track, a short lap with little room for mistakes but one a lot of people enjoy. Until then though hope everyone has a great week!

Incident 1:
Charlie Vs Danny - 5s and 1LP to Danny for spinning another car.
We have taken the changeable conditions into account here, but Danny still clearly spins Charlie.
Incident 2:
Charlie Vs Moley - 5s and 1LP to Moley for spinning another car.
Moley hits the back of Charlie causing him to spin, however due to the fact that both cars are following very closely, and Charlie has just recovered from a spin, we felt that 5 seconds was sufficient.
Incident 3:
Kislesko Vs JMC - Warning to JMC
Kislesko is a long way back and whilst JMC does move over, we don’t feel there is enough to penalise JMC.
Incident 4:
Kislesko Vs Marsh - NFA
After reviewing all the evidence provided it’s clear that this incident was as a result of desync, therefore there’s nothing we can do about it.
Incident 5:
Kislesko Vs Charlie - 5s and 1LP to Charlie for spinning another car.
There is clear contact despite Kislesko having a bit of lag. Unlike the incident between Kislesko and Marsh there is a clear point of contact between both cars, which is Charlie’s fault.

Incident 1: SLR Hicklin vs Maxwell- Lap 30
Outcome: Racing incident
Reason: It’s seen that maxwell went for a move down into turn 1 and deserved room into the corner as he gave plenty. Hicklin didn’t leave Maxwell enough room therefore making himself spin due to a lack of racing room.
