Welcome to another week in SLR, and welcome back to Imola for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix for the first time since Season 10! After some changeable weather and some incredible finales to the races, here's how everything finished after the Stewards Reports.
McKeon
Just a quick report from me as I didn't catch a load of the race, but a late safety car really changed it up on Sunday - everyone pitted onto fresh softs other than SLR Ham19 who stayed out on his mediums. Corey took advantage of his teammate early, whilst Ham tried to hold off the trailing pack. it all kicked off on the final lap however, as TSivertsen04 was in the gravel, then right down the order, same as SLR EVVO after the 2 came together with just 1 sector to go when battling for P2.
Corey took the win making it 3 for the season for him, whilst Ham manged to still finish 2nd after what happened above. raceroller22 finished the race P3 in the same place as he started to round off the podium.
See you next week in Portugal!

Division 2
With no F2 this week, Division 2 opened the show just East of Bologna as we got going for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in Imola. One thing that hasn't changed here is the weather, as even though it wasn't quite wet enough to cancel the round completely like in 2023 in real F1, it was definitely tricky as we headed into qualifying. The rain did look to ease up in the final minutes of the session however, and it was SLR Darnell who took pole - his 3rd since joining SLR almost 4 years ago. OwenHowell36 joined alongside with UKBeastAssassin and championship leader Massey F1 completing the top 4.
It was all sunny skies at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari for the race, however come the end of the straight after lights out, we still had bits raining from the sky - this time just debris, as a monster high-speed crash between PxrpHaze 44 & SLR Liamm saw both drivers out before the first braking point, and the Safety Car was out!
Come lap 8 the safety car was back out once again, this time due to the front pack learning that 5 into 1 doesn't go - OwenHowell36 got a little too much kerb at Turn 1 and was round and out quicker than he was to blame those around him. Pretty much everyone was in the pits and the order was slightly shuffled.
A few laps later and Pricey was the latest addition to the list of retired drivers - by the looks of it he got a bit too rear happy out of the final corner and out came the VSC. As mentioned previously the majority of the pack pit under the safety car, however a few drivers, most notably ZachIsBeast25, stayed out and held onto their tyres enough to pit for softs until the end - how Zach managed 22 laps on those mediums only god knows!
A quick surge to the end from Zach, as well as GoldenEggFryer and THATGUY, who also pitted late for softs, saw them make their way through the field and cap off a strong performance in the race. The strongest performance however was from Massey F1, who showed that he doesn't always need a late SC to get on the top spot - cracking drive from the championship leader who extends his lead. SLR Darnell joined him in P2, whilst Adrian VIII rounded off the podium after a cracking drive from starting P8. Same goes for Kislesko too - keeping out of trouble and going from P17 to P4 is no mean feat.
We'll see you all this Friday as we head back to the Algarve in Portugal for what I'm sure will be one heck of a race around Portimao. Last season was won by dRaSt1k bLazE taking his first of 3 successive wins which saw him move up to McKeon - will anyone be playing the Blaze role this time around?
