Incident: Zydrad, jam, bezzas vs SLR Darnell (divebomb)
Outcome: 20s+4LP for SLR Darnell
Reason: Darnell makes a very ambitious divebomb on multiple drivers into turn 1, causing wing damage to zydrad and forcing multiple cars off the circuit.
Southernerz vs V2 - Divebomb causing damage
Outcome: 20s and 5LP to V2 x Combat (converted to a qualifying ban due to DNF)
Reason: Southernerz is minding his own business going into the braking zone of the right hander before the esses, and gets a clout from a driver who is trying to fight Para Quickz behind. Evidence shows that V2’s car wasn’t even alongside Para’s going into the braking zone and therefore has no business even making slight contact with Southernerz, nevermind giving him wing damage as a result. Hence we give the standard divebomb penalty and then an extra licence point to V2 because of the nature of the divebomb.
HamJam & GhostColt vs Jito DV - Major wing damage (lap 1)
Outcome: 15s & 3LP (qualifying ban for next race due to DNF)
Reason: heading into the hairpin, Jito hits the back of Ghostcolt, who hits the back of HamJam, who hits the back of the car in front. Both Ghost colt and HamJam receive major wing damage, so Jito DV is awarded 15s and 3LP.
Division 1
SLR's Division 1 race saw a closely fought qualifying session, with the front row being shared by McLaren's SLR Rando, who took pole position by 0.035s over BrindyBoi67 in the Williams, with the Ferrari of CechThisOut only a tenth behind in P3
The start was relatively clean for the most part as the pack made their way through the roundabout and taking the third exit as they made their way down, cars would be two, even three wide in some cases, keeping it clean between racers, but not giving them an inch. It was to be the stream start for McLaren however as SLR Semm managed to get a good look up the inside of T1 and put himself in contention for CechThisOut's P2, and with heavy deployment of the battery, SLR Semm was able to go up the inside with a brilliantly managed braking move up the inside into the T11 hairpin and an elegant squeeze on exit would mean Semm would take P2 and Cech would also lose out to BrindyBoi67 and slip down to P4. The first lap round the street circuit also saw some damage being picked up on the wings of the Mercedes of SillyBunny47711 and SLR Ranga in the midfield, seeing them making a L1 pitstop and being put on the back foot for the remainder of the race. An honourable mention would have to go to Lewisod for a lightning start and careful precision in making his way through the field early on, after starting P14, he was already in a healthy P8 at the start of L2, up 6 positions
The first stint evolved into a battle between the McLaren's, who occupied P1 and P2, the Williams of BrindyBoi67 and SLR Connor in P3 and P4, with Championship Leader SLR Dylan hot on the tail in P5. SLR Rando had a 3.5s advantage when the pit window opened, but it was SLR Semm and BrindyBoi67 pitting early, going for an early undercut, however strategy was split as the latter would go onto hards, and the former on mediums. SLR Dylan would opt to come in a lap later, however SLR Rando and SLR Connor got the stroke of good fortune at the expense of SLR Ranga, who hit the barrier at T12 going into the S3 split and the car would lay stricken on the racing line, a need for a caution and the race to be slowed.
The SC came at a reasonable time for all, looking back, it was right on the cusp of the pit window so drivers could find some benefit somewhere, with a couple gaining and losing track position. Dylan had lost places to Bennett628, Riggsey x and TRC AlfieDK, who was making his debut here in Vietnam, and all gained valuable track position. The restart would see Rando lead us back under green
Rando would lead away and on the restart, there was yellow domination as most opted for the Mediums, BrindyBoi67, CechThisOut and JibJab325 on Hards, but it was the Soft runners of TRC AlfieDK, Lil Wiggyy and ARL PReDaToRZz looking quickest as they began making gains on the restart and putting the pressure on the front runners, a burst of soft tyre energy that would hopefully put them in good stead for the final stint. The McLaren 1-2 would be reinstated as SLR Semm would find his way back through and demote SLR Connor to 3rd, before both would put on L19 and 20 for their final stops. In the hidden realms of the midfield, SillyBunny47711 was driving under the radar as he was scything his way through the field and was occupying a podium position as he opted to stretch his tyres out to the end.
The final lap of the race would see SLR Rando take a convincing victory after demonstrating electric pace in qualifying, and narrowly missed out on the F1 Grand Slam as he didn't have the FL under his belt, but with a performance like that, I doubt he cares. However, as the chequered flag greeted Rando home, positions were still being contested. BrindyBoi67 would take a quiet P2 after going Hard to the end, but SillyBunny47711 had Bennett628 and SLR Dylan clipping at the heels for the elusive final step of the podium, with SLR Semm and Lil Wiggyy just out of reach. Dylan would overtake Bennett going into the hairpin for the final time and help his teammate secure the podium and an overwhelming vote for DOTD

Bunny vs Connor Outcome: 10 seconds and 2 License points For Connor - Coming off the start, Connor seems unaware that bunny is along side him and swipes across the track giving him wing damage. We believe the traction period of the start is over so it isn't due to "Losing the car".
Bunny vs Clock outcome: Warning for Clock - Drivers are reminded to make sure the track is clear before attempting to rejoin from an unsafe position.
Wiggy Pit cut outcome: 5 seconds and 1 license point - Clearly darts into the pits last minute to save him time from going round another lap.
Clock vs Liam and cech outcome: 15 seconds and 3 license points for Clock - Coming into the hairpin clock outbrakes himself causing him to hit cech into a wall giving him damage, cech then hits the rear of Liam sending him in a half spin because cech couldn't stop from the previous hit from clock.
Division 2
Well that was some race!
I’m sure we’re all somewhat positive that we won’t have to race around Vietnam again, at least not in SLR (other than the realistic league when that comes). I was actually starting to enjoy it 🙁
Anyways, pole position went to Coupe a Benz with a cracking lap over SLR Teddy and SLR FemPest, but neither of them were in the lead into turn 1! Medium traction op and probably some sort of glitching saw OwenHowell36 go from P5 to P1 in a matter of seconds, and created a big gap until the safety car came out for a collision which saw Div 2 debutant Cal M Smith out of the session.
Then of course, not so surprisingly the leader would then put it in the wall during the restart and get bad wing damage, screwing up all his chances of a first win, maybe even a first podium. Cheers, Owen’s crying.
The real race maker however was the second safety car, just as some rain was beginning to come down. Some people boxed and put on some inters, some didn’t think it was wet enough. The latter were correct in their decision, but it was a tough call for everyone. The rain did finally come down enough for inters with not too long left, and by the end we were all on inters. At the end it was SLR FemPest who took 2 wins from 3 races, with craigfk in P2 with an excellent recovery drive and someone who didn’t box for inters during the safety car like SLR FemPest. Finally SLR Teddy finished off the podium to get his second points haul of the season, and a big one too! Coupe a Benz finished P4 from pole, whilst reserve LSW L3G3ND44 took a superb drive to P5 as well as fastest lap. The remainder of the points finishers after a few timing glitches were: OwenHowell36, ZachIsBeast25, SLR Panther, Xx Allen xX7679 & MRC R Leah.

rockamad73 vs OwenHowell - Collision on formation lap
Outcome: Warning for OwenHowell36
Reason: The stewards believe that the incident on the formation lap was caused by lag/desync. While Rockamad was DSQ from the formation lap, Owen’s POV clearly proved that while he got very close to Rockamad’s car, he made no contact. Using this train of thought, he succeeded in avoiding the incident, which is all you can ask for a driver who has made a mistake in this situation. This is further proved by the fact that he did not get disqualified on the formation lap. However a warning is given for conduct on formation lap.
ZachIsBeast vs Cal M Smith Spinning another car causing terminal damage (lap 1)
Outcome: No investigation neccesary
Reason: It is noted that Zach’s car was being controlled by AI after Zach was asked to leave the session to enable the race to get going. While it was very unfortunate for Cal M Smith to retire from an incident he was entirely innocent in, it would not be fair to give a penalty to a driver who was specifically asked to leave the lobby and thus could not have had any control over his car.
MRC R Leah vs SLR Teddy - Overtaking under safety car
Outcome: No Futher Action.
Reason: Teddy was instructed to pass Leah after Leah had spent a notable period of time being asked to catch up to the SC queue, and subsequently received a 30 second countdown for falling too far back, in which Teddy was instructed to overtake Leah’s car.
rockamad73 - Dangerous Re-entry to the track (lap 20)
Outcome: Warning for Rockamad73
Reason: Rockamad’s re-entry to the track at the roundabout section is deemed dangerous by the stewards, as his car makes contact with MRC R Leah, unsettling the car and causing him to lose a position to Zachisbeast. However some leniency is given to Rockamad given the aftermath of the incident he was involved in moments earlier meaning he had been given red wing damage, plus the fact the incident did not have a drastic impact on the overall race of Leah, and the understanding that they’re all in changeable conditions with limited grip. Henceforth a Warning is given.
SLR Nealix vs SLR Hicklin:
Outcome: 20s and 5LP for SLR Hicklin (converted to a qualifying ban due to DNF)
Reason: Hicklin lunges nealix into turn 2 and goes off track. He then follows this up by driving dangerously back onto the track the following corner straight into SLR Nealix. Hicklin’s wheel is still pointing to the right as he’s making contact with nealix as nealix is then forced into a wall, losing his entire front wing. Hence a 20s penalty is given to SLR Hicklin for dangerous driving resulting in full wing damage to SLR Nealix The extra licence point is given due to the severity of the incident.
rockamad73 vs SSR Halo
Outcome: 15s and 3LP to SSR Halo
Reason: Spinning another car. Halo brakes a bit later than rockamad and cuts the track to try to avoid him but in doing so spins rockamad, causing the Renault driver to receive wing damage in the process
Division 3
Onto race 3 at Hanoi in division 3 and it was SLR Dolph1n in the Alpha Tauri who snatched his first ever pole position by 0.066s with SLR Dodgy in the Alfa Romeo making up the front row for the first time this season. Honeybadger56X in the Mercedes once again qualifying in P3 for the 3rd race in a row with SLR Gareth in the Williams making up the second row. As the lights went out the race got underway and it was SLR Dodgy who made the better start to take P1 from SLR Dolph1n at T1 but had to cut the corner of T3 to stay out in front. By T6 of lap 1 the VSC was out due to collisions happening at the rear of the field as X J Geddes X in the Red Bull looked to be the early victim of some lap 1 incidents. SLR Russell in the Ferrari and X J Geddes X were the first drivers to pit at the end of lap 1 as Merkz47 on commentary duty was battling Siri trying to find George Ezra in the I-tunes Store. SLR Dodgy lead the race until lap 6 when he lost traction at T7 and spun losing 4 positions down to P5 as Honeybadger56X took the lead of the race ahead of SLR Dolph1n. Lap 7 and Lofty4794 was showing great pace as he was up into P3 after starting in P14 with the Renault boys of SLR J3st3r and SLR Hyperz in P4 and P5.
At the hairpin turn of T9 Lofty4794 then made a great overtake on SLR Dolph1n around the outside into P2 and was flying at this point in the race until entering the pit lane and getting a speeding penalty. Lap 8 then saw the first pit stops of the soft runners of SLR J3st3r and SLR Dodgy as SLR Hyperz moved up into P3 after starting in P11 on the medium tyres. Lap 9 then brought a safety car after a crash from Aflyinglemon318 in the Racing Point giving all drivers a chance of a free pitstop. The race restart on Lap13 and Honeybadger56X lead the field as SLR Hyperz made his way up into P2 with Lofty4794 in P3 and on the following lap SLR Hyperz took the race lead from Honeybadger56X for the first time in the race. Lap 20 then saw SLR Hyperz come in for a pitstop to move onto another set of soft tyres for the final 8 laps of the race. Honeybadger56X then took the race lead again with SLR J3st3r in P2 and SLR Dodgy in P3. A VSC and pitstops for SLR J3st3r and SLR Dodgy on lap 21 put l21l Maxwell in the Mclaren up to P2 with SLR Hyperz back up to P3 on the soft tyres. Lap 23 and SLR Hyperz then took P2 from l21l Maxwell at T1 and set his sights on Honeybadger56X to chase down a 15 second gap with 6 laps remaining. With 3 laps remaining Honeybadger56X `s lead was down to 7 seconds as SLR Hyperz was closing the gap lap by lap on the faster compound tyre with Loft4794 now settled into P3.
With 2 laps to go the gap at the front was down to just over 3 seconds as Honeybadger56X looked to be struggling for pace on the medium tyres. The drama then unfolded on the final lap as SLR Hyperz took the lead ahead of T5 only for Honeybadger56X to fight back at the hairpin of T9. The pair then went side by side into T11 as SLR Hyperz held the outside and held on for a brilliant victory with Honeybadger56X taking P2. Lofty4794 had a great race to come home in P3, SLR J3st3r was P4, SLR Dodgy P5, l21l Maxwell P6, SLR Gareth P7, SLR Colden P8, x J Geddes x P9 and SLR Dolph1n took the final points place in P10.

REASON: x J Geddes x does not leave stevooo sufficient space, causing stevooo to hit the wall which gives him damage

REASON: SLR St2oh Rejoins the track and causes minor contact, which sends x J Geddes x into the wall
