Round 8 of the F2 championship kicked off with the roaring F2 Engines performing at their mechanical limit around the hills of Austria. All drivers still Hunting for that championship title.
Quali saw ZyBa.....I mean, ZyDRAD grab a Pole position making that 7 poles for the season. Followed by HamJam2002 and UKBeastAssassin with Stella laps to round off the Top 3. Another interesting Tidbit to notice is UNI-Virtuosi performing great in Qualifying, Placing 3rd and 5th.
The Feature race was what everyone was dreading... Rain. Despite the wet start most drivers kept it very clean in the first opening corners with very little positions changing. Until Turn 8. Where leader and current Championship leader ZyDRAD making a silly mistake on the exit of Turn 8 which cost him 4 positions. Tough to make the positions back up around Austria with no DRS to help him.
That being said it finished with HamJam2002 making no mistakes in the tricky conditions to take the win despite the other podium sitters, ZyDRAD and Xx JamHam xX's best efforts to throw him off his flawless performance. The Feature Race allowed RaceRoller22 to show off his Wet Race pace. Making it into 9th after a 14th placement on the Grid after Qualifying.
Onto the Sprint Race. Where it showed who had the bottle to come out on top. And it was that man again, HamJam2002 making it from 8th place to win once again after calamity after calamity from the surrounding drivers. He kept his head down and brought it home. With the other podium sitters being UKBeastAssassin and SLR Scopezz. The Dry Race this time round allowed for a race pace show from Crafti3stJ3st3r (13th to 10th), SLR Semm(12th to 7th) and Raceroller once again (9th-6th).
