Round 10 of the F2 kicked off around Budapest with all drivers just barely recovering from a hectic series of events around Britain.
Qualifying kicked off and finished with a familiar face. ZyDRAD picks up his 9th pole of the season. Clearing 2nd by an impressive 6 tenths. Clearly showing his consistent quali pace. With the top 3 being rounded off with SLR Darnell and MeRkz47 showing their brilliant run of forms lately.
The feature race saw MeRkz47 have a very good start to jump SLR Darnell for 2nd place and be right on the gearbox of ZyDRAD for the ENTIRE RACE. Unfortunately for MeRkz47, dirty air proved too much and he really struggled to go for a move all race. Resulting in ZyDRAD to take the win, with MeRkz47 finishing 2nd and UKBeastAssassin Rounding off the podium.
Freeman showed his impressive race pace making up 14 positions to take 4th after invalidating his quali lap putting him 18th. And SLR Darnell fell back to 8th after penalties lining him up perfectly for another sprint race pole position.
And with that, onto the Sprint race. Where it saw SLR Darnell Take home his 2nd Sprint race victory in a row after battling with ZyDRAD who made up the positions from 8th due to misfortune from the drivers in front. ZyDRAD Recieved a taste of his own medicine as he too suffered with the dirty air and couldn't make the pass on Darnell who showed some impressive defending to hold onto 1st place. With ZyDRAD finishing 2nd and JH199 finishing off the podium places.
Scopezz showed a mega performance in the sprint to finish in 6th position from right at the back in 20th!! Unbelievable performance earning him driver of the sprint.
Mega stuff in Hungary from all Drivers this week. Next week we go to spa where endurance gets put under the microscope once again. Until then....
