Round 2 of the championship takes the grid out to Shanghai for the Chinese Grand Prix and the teams were welcomed with a mixed weather qualifying session early on, but drying up in the later stages with some sun peaking through, and heating up the track, and adding an extra spin on the session once again. It would be Midzy15 in the Williams to take pole position here, and after a series of game glitches on his end last time out, secured the best seat on the grid with a 1:29.615, at a track in the past that has become the Williams driver’s stomping ground in league racing. It would be the McLaren of Crispy2001 starting alongside on the front row with a 1:29.785, just over a tenth shy of the pole time, and only in his second race in SLR’s top tier, it would be the Alpine of Riggs8 in P3, setting a 1:29.874. The start of the race would be a steady, and clean affair off the grid as Midzy15 got the cleaner launch on the grid and into the lead, Crispy2001 not enjoying the cleanest launch, but would be enough to hold Riggs8 behind and maintain position. TommyReal would make a move round the outside of FRA Jam into the heavy braking zone of Turn 6 and go up to P5, but further back chaos would ensue as FRA Ham and V2 x Combat both went off at the exit of T8 on the first lap, with Raceroller22 also having a spin off the sweeping turn 12 onto the back straight, putting the three drivers at distance with the leading pack SLR Cech and GhostColt would share an intense start to L2 as they both battled for P8 through the first sector, and both had to be aware of the spinning Alfa of Jibjab325, and further ahead, FRA Jam with a mistake, saw the battle for P7 really kick it up a gear. This would be P6 by the end of the lap following the spin from the McLaren of Para at the final corner, plummeting himself to the back of the field. The top 3 of Midzy, Crispy and Riggs began to break free from the pack, with the gap sitting on 5seconds between P3 of Riggs and P4 of Bezzas by the start of Lap 4, but this gap would be short-lived, as a VSC came out following the spin of Haas driver TommyReal, who was sent spinning into the wall off turn 12. This caution would be upgraded to a full course Safety Car, and with this decision by the race directors, forced the had of all drivers as there would be a queue forming into the pitlane to put on a fresh set of hards to the end, which enthused a need to be kind on the tyres should drivers want to make it to the end, but also, robbed the speculation of strategy for the various battles that were forming. With the pitlane looking a lot like rush hour traffic, it was FRA Ham in the Alpine, to inherit the race lead, but see their strategy hampered by an early caution. Everyone had pitted for hards, but the AlphaTauri of Ghost Colt opted for a set of mediums, which threw the cat amongst the pigeons. The racing would resume tentatively under the Alpine’s leadership on Lap 6, as the grid went back to racing conditions. The top 3 looked to get past the Alpine on the different strategy, and Midzy got a better exit onto the mile long back straight, and burned battery to get past and secure the lead once again, hoping that everyone behind would have an issue passing the Alpine. Crispy sought his opportunity into turn 6 the following lap, but with a firm squeeze by Ham and his defence, almost opened the door to his teammate Riggs, as the McLaren had a wiggle and a daunt before getting back into shape, but the second Alpine settled in, before both drivers past Ham, into Turn 6 the following lap, and into the hairpin respectively, as Ham settled in behind his teammate. The top 3 would once again attempt to build that gap that they enjoyed in the early stages of the race, and it would slowly stretch with the passing laps, as Bezzas and Ham began to battle over the 4th place, and the lead of the train that was rapidly developing. Crispy and Midzy would begin fighting over the lead of the race and Riggs would also join them in stretching the gap, but just narrowly missing out on the coveted, and important, DRS with the laps by mere tenths. Crispy took the opportunity to lead on Lap 13 with a good run off Turn 14 and a move up the inside of the Williams into turn 1, as the battle for the lead was heating up, and the move from a three horse race, to a two horse race, was becoming more and more imminent. The battle for P4 would continue to go on as the gap to the top 3 would stretch over the 3second mark, as the battle at the tail of this train with RaceRoller22 and Para would be a prime focus in the mid-stages, as the power of being in a DRS train was being underlined. The battle for the lead would change hands as Midzy and Crispy were in a class of their own at the front, as they both swapped positions into turn 1 once again, on lap 20. Their gap to third place and to Riggs was extending all the time, and it was around 4seconds at this point, as the Alpine was just driving its own race Racing would go absolutely down to the wire as Midzy and Crispy once again went head to head, with the Williams leading on the final lap, it would be the McLaren mounting a final challenge for the victory, and Crispy used everything, ERS, DRS, Slipstream, everything in the armoury, to go for it, into the hairpin at the end of the straight for the final time, Midzy showed Crispy the long way round, and with both leaving their braking to the absolute last millisecond, went side by side through turn 13, and their exits were even as they charged to the final corner, and with Midzy running wide on the exit, was able to hold off the energised challenge by the McLaren to hold onto victory and claim another win at the Shanghai circuit. Crispy would secure P2 as both drivers showed tremendous pace and a respectful grit between the pair in their battles, to put on a show for the victory throughout the 28 laps of racing, and Riggs, in his second race, secured the podium in quiet fashion, running a race of his own, to round off the podium sitters for Round 2.

Reason: retires on track. This is the minimal possible penalty for this type of incident and this is what we’ll award v2 with as he doesn’t impede anybody when retiring on track.
Raceroller22 vs PaRa Quickz
Outcome: 5s + 1LP to PaRa
Reason: PaRa is recovering from a spin out of the final corner and rejoins the track dangerously, driving onto the racing line as raceroller is exiting the final corner. This causes roller to have to take avoiding action and pick up a track limit warning in the process.
Qualifying for round 2 at China began with slr semm serving a qualifying ban from last race, we also saw SLR Vandoorne and SLR Ranga disqualified from the session by the game so that was another two drivers with a strong chance at pole out, SLR Liam also got knocked out after losing the car pushing too hard whilst being on track to set the fastest time in q1 and spun his car. This weeks pole sitter was SG Darren with a time of 1.30.414 followed by Klutzywinter830 in second and hamy is best following in third.
The race started with hamy is best getting the best start and jumping straight into the lead and Dreemteembn spinning and resetting to track after retiring in track twice and readying up early on the grid so the stewards will be busy with him, SLR Ranga also had a spin on lap one where he would eventually go on to retire after having such promising pace early on in qualifying.
Drama on last corner of lap 5 as Darren loses the car and spins into the wall luckily not retiring but similarly to last week the pole sitter spins again! Lap 10 now and masongammon05 also lost it at the final corner and this time luck wasn’t on his side he couldn’t continue on he was out and so was the safety car!
With all the medium runners pitting for hards LP smoke opted to pit once again for the mediums only losing a few extra places but with the better tires to the end, elite x riskz opted for the two stop onwards from there going into the softs. The safety car came in and hamy is best had been disconnected from the session meaning klutzy had a golden opportunity to overtake whilst the ai took over but as he went for an overtake he spun! And trying to get back on track as quick as possible he rejoined the track in a dangerous manner which the stewards will have looked at!
Lap 18 and SLR Bennett let his team mate and current championship leader LP smoke past playing the team game with smoke on the better tires aswell as bennett suffering with force feedback issues again meaning he was slower. Lap 19 and the division 2 champ and third place runner SLR Fempest spun and lost his chance at the podium after showing serious pace all race. 2 laps from the end and bennett force feedback had completely turned off meaning he has to reset his wheel losing two positions in one corner allowing SLR Semm and Klulzywinter830 past then the lap later spinning at theist corner dropping him from sixth to 11th
The checkered flag waved and hamy is best was first to cross but immediately lost it to SLR Sam after In game penalties with SLR Vandoorne and SLR Connor rounding out the podium but after the stewards had a look at the incidents sent to them the final podium saw SLR Sam keeping his win with hamy is best having a penalty removed meaning he claimed the second step on the podium with SLR Vandoorne taking third with SLR Connor dropping to p6 after receiving a 5 second penalty. A big shout out to SLR Semm who finished fifth in the end after starting last a strong drive and one to look out for next race!

Reason: Klutzy's AI smashes into the back of Hamy and takes him off track. Sufficient evidence was submitted from Hamy for this to be removed.
SLR ranga Vs SLR Connor - dangerous driving (lap 1)
Outcome: 5 seconds + 1LP for Connor
Reason: Approaching turn 1 on the inside, Connor reacts later and turns later than everyone else nearly taking out Sam and Bennett. Ranga had to heavily brake to avoid colliding with Sam. Luckily there was no damage to anyone and we also do not think Ranga's spin three seconds later was to do with what happened with Connor.
OwenHowell36 Vs KlutzyWinter830 - Dangerous track re-join (lap 17)
Outcome: 10 seconds + 2LP for Klutzy
Reason: Klutzy was unfortunately taken out by Hamy's AI car which is incredibly unlucky. However the rejoin onto the track that followed was unsafe and put drivers at risk. Smoke was very lucky to avoid him however Owen tried to react in time but it was too late and ended up hitting the back of Klutzy. This caused a chain reaction with Owen then being spun out completely

It is very obvious that dreemteam hasn't read the rules as required, since getting these many penalties of this kind shouldn't be possible in one weekend. Reading the rules and understanding them is something we want from all our drivers, and skipping that will end up in a situation like this. Since a single driver has never received this many penalties before, its tough to know what's the best solution but Article 27.2 has been applied in this case and the verdict is that dreemteembn is banned from signing up for the next 4 races as well as being awarded a qualifying ban for his first race back and 9 LP as well. For breaking lots of black and white league rules as well as not having read the rules (as required) at all.
To division 2 then and the weather radar in qualifying at first seemed all dry until the end of Q2 and the start of Q3 a shower of rain came down where the first half of Q3 a few drivers were frantically trying to get out and set a lap on dry tyres little did we know this rain and the track would dry out so quickly as the time ticked down where it now seemed the last person to set there lap would get pole and that was the case as Reserve driver ARL Tooman took pole by just under a second with a 1.31.7 with Scar B0rga joining him on the front row.
To the Race then everyone inside the top 10 started ok mediums apart from SLR Hicklin who opted for the softs in Q2 so was expecting him to have a flying start but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Instead pole sitter ARL Tooman got away well and looked to build a gap and get out of drs range. Plenty of battles in behind with ZachIsBeast with a lovely move on Dra5t1k blazE in turn one.
Another great battle in the early stages was between J Lee Menz and SLR Leah battling for a podium place. Quickly joined in the battle by MasseyF1 with some brilliant wheel to wheel racing.
Meanwhile even more great racing just behind that battle with OG James 96 and LSW L3G3ND44 who were nip and tick.
Leah eventually got the move done on Menz and set about catching Scar b0rga which he did so and on lap 12 contact between the two drivers and loss of wings brought out the first safety car of the race and was the perfect time for everyone to change tyres which left us with lots of people in different positions and a lot now back in the race.
On the restart OG James and LSW L3G3ND picked up where they left off James now on the medium compound of tyre looking for a way through.
ARL Tooman had a spin after looking good to battle it out for the win all race until that point. SLR Barlow found himself now in a podium place after keeping his nose clean and putting in some laps as we headed in to the final 10 laps.
A second safety car was brought out after a couple spinners and a retirement needed clearing up. Drivers towards the back of the field opting for the softs until the end where the drivers towards the front opting to stay out and have track position as we now had a sprint to the end.
J Lee Menz was leading the way until a spin let MasseyF1 through with SLR Barlow in 2nd place. JackMullCGFC after starting from the back was now fighting to finish on the podium and made a clean move to do so this getting him the driver of the day vote.
Another safety car in. Closing laps neutralised the race and no more DRS assistance was going to be available. ARL Tooman found himself now battling for a podium on the last lap after a spin earlier on but would miss the podium by .052
MasseyF1 took the chequered flag though ahead of SLR Barlow with a solid P2 after disappointing last week. JackMullCGFC rounded off the podium. Tooman P4, SLR Jack P5 building on last weeks points scoring. The same as SLR lofty, SLR Hicklin,, OG James who were P6, P7, P8 respectively. The haas team of SLR Leah and SLR Teddy earned there team the final points on offer.

Reason - B0rga loses the car on exit and hit Leah which causes Leah to hit the wall and lose his wing and several positions.

Reason - Leah leaves enough space for zach on the inside but zach understeers into him which forces Leah off the track.

Welcome back to another round of racing in division 3 here in China after a good start to the season last week in Bahrain after skullkiller took the victory.
Qualifying went as follows cow3n went pole with a good lap of a 1:30.7 then skullkiller in p2 to settle the front row then on the second row is sf1 moley with vision p4 and p5 for slr gareth with slr j3st3r in p6, p7 was aflyinglemon, p8 was maxwell, p9 was slr Charlie and unrealsalmon to finish the top 10 in 10th place.
So the start of the race as the 5 lights go out and cowen leads the pack but not for long as skullkiller takes the lead into turn 1 and slr j3st3r, slr stevo and aflyinglemon are spin going into turn 1 and drop a lot of places down the grid as slr Gareth is all over the back of cow3n on his soft compound tyres. As slr Charlie and maxwell both make up 3 places to p5 and p6. Not even a full lap in gregers has made up 6 places into p10. At the end of lap 1 skullkiller spins coming off the final corner giving the lead to cow3n once again but Gareth will not make this easy for him.
After starting at the back of the grid due to a qualifying ban Slr bunny makes up 10 places all ready.
Lap 4 brings an Aston Martin swap as slr Charlie goes into p4 and maxwell p5 and sf1 moley makes an early pit stop for the hard compound tyres. Slr Charlie makes a move on vision in to the penultimate corner into p3. lap 5 brings a spin for cosmic Cameron in sector 2 dropping him down to p13 and Slr bunny crashes into the wall losing his entire front wing now needing to pit and grumpyorange also has a spin at the back of the grid. Lap 6 slr Russell makes a move into p16 and slr Charlie makes a move on slr Gareth into p2 now aiming on catching cow3n. Lap 7 unrealsalmon has a spin coming onto turn 13 and j3st3r despite having an early spin makes his way back up to p6 as Gareth pits onto hard compound tyres along with j3st3r.
coming onto to lap 9 slr Charlie takes the lead past cow3n into turn 1 and gregers and slr sprightly battle for p5 but instantly after Slr st2oh takes a spin in p8 but only drops to p10 in front of his Mercedes teammate slr j3st3r. Lap 10 brings more yellow flags as slr stevoo spins out losing his front wing. And maxwell pits from p4 onto the medium tyres and comes out just in front of j3st3r as it was a sprint to turn 1 and maxwell takes p8.
On lap 12 cow3n attempts the undercut on Charlie but comes out just behind slr Gareth in p7. P2 vision spins on the last corner causing him to drop back 17 seconds to Charlie. As slr sprightly pits for the hands and comes out p11 in front of slr nealix. Lap 14 brings the first retirement of the race in aflyinglemon as sf1 moley also spins out and slr st2oh crahes out also and is out of this race. Skullkiller hits the back of slr nealix and loses his entire front wing in p11 and has to pit once again along with Slr bunny who also has damage.
Lap 16 gregers uk pits for the first time going onto the mediums from the hards and comes out p8. And battles for p8 with unrealsalmon for a series of corners but stays p8 for now.
Cosmic Cameron brings the 3rd retirement of the race on lap 16 bringing out a full safety car. Slr Gareth gets a drive through penalty for exceeding his delta and I’m sure he would not be happy with that as he was having a brilliant race in p2 but now has to drive through the pit lane. And slr stevoo gets a drive through penalty as well. Slr Gareth, slr j3st3r, vision and sf1 moley all pit under safety car for fresh tyres. Down in p13 skullkiller spins out and the game dsq him for driving the wrong way around the track and that will be the end to his race.
The safety car will be lead away by slr Charlie followed by cow3n then slr sprightly, slr Gareth and gregers uk in the top 5. Slr Charlie goes just before the line with cow3n just behind and slr Gareth pits to serve his drive through and Slr bunny crashes for the 5th retirement of this race. Gregers and sprightly are battling for the podium position and sf1 moley makes a move on Russell and there is a massive crash as maxwell spins out dropping to the back and hitting grumpyorange along the way and has to pit because of wing damage along with stevooo and j3st3r as sf1 moley makes up 5 positions from 10th to 5th in one lap, he is on for a really good end to this race.
Lap 21 and slr sprightly and gregers are still battling for p3 very good racing from them both. This bring sf1 moley into the equation down the back straight and try’s the switch back on gregers and makes the move stick and Russell makes a move onto unrealsalmon into p6 but does have a time penalty to his name. Now unrealsalmon has had a moment meaning him to get a 3 second penalty and drop 2 places to p9. Lap 23 and sf1 moley makes a move into p3 on sprightly going into t1 and now cow3n is now under pressure from moley and he makes a move into the penultimate corner into p2 and gregers gets a brilliant exit out of the last corner and Makes a move past sprightly into p4 and sprightly is now dropping places as he is now battling Russell for p5. Lap 24 now and both Alfa romeos crash into each other leaving unrealsalmon with no wing and having to pit and vision drops to p8. Now slr sprightly eyes up a move on gregers down the inside of the long straight and gregers completely out brakes himself leading him off the track and getting a 10 second penalty which leaves the door wide open for slr Russell and slr nealix to make an easy pass and gregers sits back into p7.
Lap 26 sees sprightly hunting down cow3n for the podium with slr Russell just behind sprightly and slr nealix is another driver very close to the pack. And slr sprightly sends it down the inside of cow3n but cow3n just holds p3 and sprightly now loses p4 to slr Russell but russell does have a time penalty. Coming onto the last lap sprightly takes p4 back but russell does try to keep the position but can’t and on the last lap p6 slr nealix spins out dropping him down to p9.
Lap 28 and slr Charlie crosses the line for his first slr win here in China! With sf1 moley takes 2nd with cow3n on the last spot on the podium with slr sprightly in p4, slr Russell in p5, slr Gareth in p6, gregers uk in p7, slr j3st3r in p8, slr nealix in p9 and in p10 vision takes the last spot for the points.

SF1 Moley vs Vision2614 - Lap 1
The stewards believe that Vision2614 moves away from the inside line, because of another car. However in this action he collides with SF1 Moley, resulting in SF1 Moley getting ran off the track. The stewards therefore handout a 5-second time penalty to Vision2614. With 1 LP, added to that.
SLR Stevooo vs GrumpyOrange976 - Lap 1.
Both drivers have sent in a clip against one another. The stewards feel like both drivers could’ve done more to prevent this incident from happening. Considering it is lap 1 and drivers are more aggressive resulted in this incident to happen.
GrumpyOrange976 vs I 21 I Maxwell - Lap 18
The stewards feel like GrumpyOrange976 should’ve picked a better spot to let all the cars past. And not be parked on the track. Therefore no penalty is awarded to I 21 I Maxwell.
Vision2614 vs SLR Russell - Lap 24
On lap 24 SLR Russell loses the car for a bit. Vision2614 uses this to get his nose up the inside. SLR Russell seems unaware of this, but should’ve let Vision2614 more room. SLR Russell is therefore awarded with a 10-second time penalty for causing a collision. This includes 3 LP.
