Appeals Report: Singapore

Stevo vs Russell - Stevo appealing the 15seconds and 3LP given for spinning another car.

Outcome: Stewards decision stands

Reason: The red arrows to indicate Russell is on the inside are there for a considerable amount of time but stevo takes the racing line and turns towards the apex spinning Russell.

Hyperz vs Laney - Hyperz appealing 20 seconds and 4LP

Outcome: Stewards decision stands

Reason: we have no evidence to suggest the severity of the penalty should be changed and it’s impossible to say you would make it to the end of the race without retiring.

Jester vs Cameron - appealing 20 seconds and 4LP

Outcome: Stewards decision stands

Reason: Jester can clearly be seen reversing onto the track into the racing line causing the collision between him and Cameron. We have not received any supporting evidence to suggest otherwise.

Vandoorne vs Clock - Vandoorne appealing the severity of Clocks penalty

Outcome: Extra 5 seconds + 1LP for Clock

Reason: we agree with the stewards decision to give 5 seconds and 1 LP for the unsafe rejoin but we also feel a further 5 seconds and 1LP should be given for the collision with Vandoorne

Vision vs 5 second penalty removal

Outcome: Stewards Decision stands (5 seconds doesn’t get removed)

Reason: This is extremely similar to the incident in Mugello in real F1 where there is no sole driver at fault however we are not removing the 5 second penalty even though sufficient evidence was given. Whilst attempting to close the gap to the cars ahead Visions change of pace catches him and the drivers behind out causing a small domino effect.

Blaze vs Panther - Blaze appealing 5 seconds and 2LP

Outcome: Stewards Decision stands

Reason: Blaze hits the back of Panther and causes him to lose control and collide with Scopez. Therefore a penalty can not be removed. However Blaze is lucky not to have received a harsher penalty from the stewards.

Menz vs Blaze - Menz appealing 5 seconds and 1LP for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Outcome: Stewards Decision Stands

Reason: Menz does overtake Blaze whilst off track. Blaze is ahead going into the corner and therefore it’s just corner to take. As far as we can see Menz doesn’t return the position.

SillyBunny vs Riggs - bunny appealing the racing incident decision

Outcome: Stewards Decision stands

Reason: Bunny initiates the contact and is lucky not to spin Riggs, in correcting his car he pushes bunny off track along with himself and gains mo lasting advantage.

F2

Ham vs 5 second penalty removal

Outcome: 5 second penalty to be removed

Reason: Due to the suspension of rule 16.1 there was grounds for an appeal and an unjust penalty was given by the game.
