Appeals Outcome: 3s + 1LP to Drastikblaze for unsportsmanlike conduct (abusing ghosting)
Reason: From the new POV provided it is clear that Blaze was initially behind Semm and intentionally drove through the car ahead. There was no attempt to try and perform a proper overtake. This is a clear abuse of the ghosting mechanic in game and as a result we’ve penalised the offending party.
Ticket # 244 (M) - Incident involving SLR Darnell & SLR Jam40
Original Outcome: 5s + 1LP to SLR Jam40
Appeals Outcome: 3s + 1LP to SLR Jam40
Reason: This is a very tricky incident to steward with multiple moving parts. From Ham and Darnell battling and being at a reduced speed to Jam and Pluto coming behind. Jam nevertheless still catches the car ahead. Even though the contact was minimal it still results in Darnell losing multiple positions through no fault of his own. This is why on reflection we feel the initial penalty was somewhat harsh and has been reduced.
The results have been amended on the initial race report to show the results of the appeals.
