Appeals Report: Hungary

Any changes in the results have been updated

KevinGT9389 vs PaRa Quickz

KevinGT9389 appealing 15s+1LP

Decision: penalty reduced to 10s+1LP

Reason: we feel that the penalty was too harsh considering the contact was made from an initial mistake, and then Kevin waited to let Para through.

SLR c0w3n vs l 21 l Maxwell

SLR c0w3n appealing the 2LP penalty

Decision: stewards decision stands

Reason: we feel like the missing of braking point is still dangerous driving and so the license points should stand

Xx JamHam xX vs gho3t C0LT

Xx JamHam xX appealing 15s+1LP

Decision: penalty reduced to 10s+1LP

Reason: it is similar to the KevinGT incident, they’ve both been shafted, but nae damage

Owen vs Scopez

Owen appealing 10sec and 2LP

Decision: Stewards decision

Reason: drivers are responsible for what their AI does to an extent, in this case it is a poor use of AI just before a safety car restart.

Owen vs Not slowing under yellow flags

Owen Appealing the 1LP

Decision: 1LP removed

Reason: Both Owen and Barlow had little time to react to the crash that happens just ahead of them. Not slowing under yellows is not something that has been penalised in the past so to stay consistent we are removing the penalty given.

Scopez vs Owen

Scopez appealing the 5 second in game penalty not being removed

Decision: 5sec in game pen removed from race time

Reason: Sufficient evidence has been provided by Scopez to warrant the penalty being removed.

Barlow vs Not slowing under yellow flags

Barlow appealing the 1LP

Decision: 1LP removed

Reason: Both Owen and Barlow had little time to react to the crash that happens just ahead of them. Not slowing under yellows is not something that has been penalised in the past so to stay consistent we are removing the penalty given.
