Appeal 1
Maxwell vs BCFC Josh
Steward's Decision - NFA
Panel Decision - Overturned
New Decision - 2lp
The panel concluded that it would be appropriate to apply 2lp to the licence of BCFC Josh, on top of the drive through penalty that was applied. Whilst Josh had admitted there was fault and that he jumped the start, we feel his reaction to this was unintentional, however, dangerous to remain stationary on a grid when other drivers behind are leaving their grid slots. This result comes with a recommendation that if one jumps the start, then the driver is tasked to take appropriate measures, such as moving to the side, to avoid incidents like this from being repeated
Appeal 2
SLR Charlie vs SLR Quattro
Steward's Decision - Racing Incident
Panel Decision - Steward's Decision stands
The panel reviewed the evidence and concluded with the stewards decision of a Racing Incident. This was due to the fact that the panel felt that they could apportion major blame on a single driver for this incident
Appeal 3
Elite risks vs Track Extensions
Steward's Decision - 5s+2lp
Panel Decision - Stewards Decision Stands
The panel have agreed with the reasoning of the stewards in this decision. With the panel being provided with extensive clips that demonstrate Elite Risks going wide at Turn 3 on at least 11 separate occasions and with the behaviour of the car, this can be classified as unsportsmanlike and gaining an unfair advantage through track and game exploitation. All drivers are reminded to keep their car within the confines of the track at all times to avoid possible exploitations, and that the stewards and the panel reserve the right to apply penalties if they believe this behaviour is being conducte
