The Panel have assessed the evidence and concluded in agreement with the Steward's original penalty. The panel understands that division was trying to make the corner, but in doing so, got some oversteer on the kerb on the outside of T4 and triggered the contact with SLR Bennett. The panel understands that there should be a degree of leverage and leniency on the first lap of a race, but with the resulting contact meaning an immediate retirement for Bennett, became a decisive factor in the panel's final decision for this incident

The panel assessed the evidence and statements from both parties, and concluded that, while both drivers were hard racing, this resulted in Raceroller going off track and losing the position. The panel believed that for Midzy to start behind the incident behind Raceroller, have them bang wheels which resulted in Raceroller going off track, led to Mdizy gaining an unsportsmanlike advantage by doing so, and conclusively, a +3 second time penalty has been applied to Midzy15's official finishing time
