The title decider?… or not!
Round 13 of 16 could crown a new champion in season 8 in the Mckeon division. Midzy vs raceroller for the title again, with midzy able to seal it if he outscored his McLaren teammate.
Firstly qualifying. Initially it looked like advantage midzy as roller got knocked out in q2, however the championship leader invalidated all of his q3 laps and lined up p10! The battle for pole was incredibly close, with Mr ogween taking pole by less than 0.02 seconds over last week’s pole sitter SLR Corey. The returning Snypz and ETE crowding would line up on the second row.
Onto the race and midzy had a phenomal start, jumping up to 5th before the end of s1! This would become fourth when crowding crashed at the end of lap 1 due to some screen freezes. At the front, ogween had broken DRS on Corey due to crowding’s misfortune, meaning the Williams driver was under immense pressure from midzy and Snypz. This pressure was alleviated when the safety car came out. This was an awkward time for it to come out as it was unclear whether the mediums could make the end. Those on the alternate strategy stayed out hoping those behind them would have to make an additional stop or have their tyres fall off the cliff.
The SC came in and para and ZyDRAD were leading the pack, both on old mediums. They knew they needed to work together to keep anyone who was on newer tyres behind them, mainly corey, ogween, midzy and Snypz. Thanks to an excellent restart and some additional traffic for the net leaders, zy and para did exactly this. Behind them there was chaos though. Corey ended up getting ahead of ogween and on lap 10 made an excellent double move on the alt strat runners of riggsey and raceroller. However the Williams driver failed to get past ZyDRAD and para. This meant that zy and para were able to both box on lap 16 from p1 and p2 onto fresh softs.
Behind them there was further action as Snypz managed to work his way into a net p1. The new alpha tauri FT driver would elect to pit at the end of the following lap (lap 17) for a set of softs, dropping him out of the points. Corey, ogween, midzy and jibjab would stay out. Would their tyres make it and most importantly would they lose too much time? The answer to the second question turned out to be a resounding yes. Zy, para and Snypz were eating into their lead at a rate of knots. Raceroller and southerner were also gaining fast on new softs as well. Therefore despite pitting from behind his championship rival midzy, roller had a very good chance to beat his teammate and extend the title race to Brazil at least.
Onto the last 7 or 8 laps of the race. Ogween had got back into p1 and behind him corey and midzy were fighting hard. This fighting was crucial as it not only allowed the RB driver to break drs but meant that midzy and Corey lost crucial time to the soft runners. ZyDRAD was the lead soft runner and the first to try to make the moves on the old medium runners. He got his way into p4 but got boxed in by Corey and midzy and picked up damage! This then meant that Snypz was the lead soft runner after passing para. He dispatched of midzy and Corey cleanly and started chasing down ogween in the last few laps. Para was next up but took a while to clear all the traffic, so despite not having any pens he would have to settle for p3 behind Snypz and ogween. Suddenly the next battle of note was a battle between the mclarens! Midzy knew roller was a lot faster on the newer tyres so tried to let him go for drs. However as that was happening jibjab was trying a move on roller himself. Jibjab and midzy collided and the championship leader picked up damage. This meant the title battle would go on to Brazil.
Now back to the battle for the lead. Snypz had reeled ogween in and passed him on the very last lap to be rewarded with an unbelievable win! What a wild race!

Incident 1 involving Corey and Zydrad Lap24
The stewards see that Zydrad take no consideration of we’re Corey is when entering the corner clipping the front of Corey car. This results in the contact with Corey and the loss of position(s).This is only 3 seconds instead of the usual 5 as even though Zydrad fails to leave sufficient space Corey could have reacted slightly better to the closing space.
Decision: Zydrad 3 sec - 1lp for causing a collision.
Incident 2 involving Jito & V2 Lap25
When entering the corner Jito moves off the racing line when braking. This open the door for V2 to break later for the corner, last second Jito moves back onto the racing line whilst braking. In turn V2 is not able to react quick enough hitting the back of Jito causing minor wing damage to V2
Decision: 5 sec pen and 1lp to Jito causing minor wing damage
Division 1
Elite Riskz and SLR Cech arrived to the Disconnect Gp in Usa, more on that later, level on points at the top of the championship however, only Elite could race this week so this gave him a free opportunity to gain some points on the Mclaren driver. The man on form in the Ferrari was on pole by over 4 tenths to Levi King in p2 and a further 6 tenths to Arb0n EPA in p3. Elite's time of a 1.30.6 was actually faster then the mckeon divison pole time so very Impressive from him.
He used his pace advantage to qualify on the mediums in q2 and be the only one in the top 10 to do so. However, this did mean Elite got a poor start off the line and that allowed Levi to get up the inside at turn 1 and take the lead Arb0n tried his best to follow through but his attempt fell short. Further back it was an early shower for SLR Vandoorne as he had a collison in the S section with Reportedly Zachisbeast in the solo mclaren for this weekend. The other Aston Martin was also in the wars on lap 1 as SimbarocksONE before this weekend was the only other driver with a realistic chance of winning the drivers title. Unfortunately his hopes was shattered after a collison at turn 1 causing wing damage and emotional damage as the dejected Simba pitted at the end of the lap 1 and with no saftey car to save him so he had a lonely race at the back of the field.
Focusing on the battle at the front Leviking managed to pull out of DRS of Elite Riskz on the mediums so Arbon had to get past on lap 3 which he did and he managed to get back into the drs of Levi so he wouldn't bolt off and Elite didn't lose any other positions on the mediums which would really help his race.
As the top 6 pulled away from the rest a major mistake from the race leader on the end of lap 5. Levi ran wide out of the final corner and got all out of shape that gave Arbon a free ticket to take the lead and snatch control of the race. Elite clearly could see Levi was vulnerable he also got past him just before the back drs straight as he also sensed his mediums would be the quicker tyre at this stage as the softs would fade away. More nightmares for Levi as him and Shut Medal would collide at the start of sector 3 causing Levi to spin round no body damage but major time lost and also over heated tyres meant his chances of winning went down the drain. Later on lap 6 we saw our second retirement from the race as DPT Paul crashed into the penultimate corner and the barrier causing his front right tyre to fly off but something to which I illuded too earlier no saftey car.
The Levi and Medal incident allowed the Arbon and elite to have a clear gap at the front and those two switched positions on lap 7 Arbon let elite riskz by to try and drag him along as his mediums was clearly faster.
However, that plan was short lived as arbon would be the start of the many drivers too disconnect Arbon managed to get back in the session quickly however he obviously lost drs to elite and got dragged into the battle with SLR qauttro who was having a great opening stint and his team mate UKbeastassasian both these drivers got past the hapless Red bull and due to this Beast got to be the first red bull to pit and Arbon was very frustrated by this as he had to continue for another lap with qauttro. Beast did the undercut to perfection and managed to pull out of the drs of these two however on the following lap 9 Qauttro went for a spin in the S section disappointing for the Alpha Tuari who was having a great race before the spin.
This left the alternative strategy runners of Elite, Ham and Jam with the two Red Bulls in a net but maybe not as close as what they would like as they were aware of the power of the softs at the end.
Arbon Caught a 2 second gap to beast in a matter of laps as he clearly had the superior pace and the team made the switch on lap 16 and Arb0n despite lacking ers was pulling his team mate with him as the alt strategy runners made their moves. Ham and jam both pitted at the end of lap 16 which ham stated it was a lap too early for his liking but he was on the charge on the softs. Next a massive moment Elite riskz cruising at the front disconnected just like Arbon but this time with much bigger consequences his Ai took him into the pits on lap 18 and put him on a set of hards which is the worst tyre out of the 3 compounds and now has a massive uphill battle to win this race. Ham would be the next unfortunate one to disconnect so he would lose a lap of his softs and also one more lap behind Elite riskz on hards which played a major part in how early ham past qauttro medal and then catching the two red bulls in the lead still working together.
When Ham finally caught Arbon and beast it was Lap 25 and his tyres had seen their best life but this didn't stop him making moves as he would lunge Beast into turn 1 this then lead too a beautiful battle through the s section but more importantly allow the arbon to pull outside of a second and have the final lap without the pressure from Ham. But wait before you think Arbon took his first ever slr win please think again as the championship leader Elite riskz on the white wall hard compound tyres got past beast after an unfortunate spin at the triple right hander and then got past Ham at turn 1 and the commentators where saying about how Ham could come back for p2 but I think everyone watching and especially Arbon was shocked at elite's sector 1 and got back into the drs of Arbon and set himself up for one chance to snatch the win away and he did just that Arbon didn't fully defend the inside which would be to his disappointment and demise and Elite on his hard compound tyres yes hard compound tyres round USA takes the win and a 25 point lead in the championship over Cech. Arbon had to settle for p2 but still a good result in his hunt for p3 in the standings over his mate SimbarocksONE.
Ham recovers to p3 from p11. Shut medal had a lonely second stint but finished p4 and benefited from Qauttro and Beast spins who finished p6 and p5 respectively. The other Alpha tuari picked up a decent p7. Levi does pick up 4 points in p8 but should of been more whilst Barlow and jam complete the top ten.
So America to South America as Elite riskz hijacks the win as head into Brazil can elite make it 4 wins in a row or can SLR cech close that championship back into his grasp find out Monday 7pm next week.

Division 2
Round 13 took us to The Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas. As you’d expect the sun wad blazing all weekend long so zero threat of rain.
VapidCoot74 who missed the previous two races claimed pole position with a brilliant 1:31.552. The man who topped the timing sheets for Q1 and Q2 SLR Liamm is alongside VapidCoot in P2.
Onto the race itself and that long climb into the infamous turn 1. VapidCoot74 got a fantastic start which allowed him to easily hold onto first place. SLR Liamm just about held onto second as the championship leader I VR46 I tried to send it down the inside.
Things got a little punchy through turn 1 in the midfield and the back of the field. But everyone made it through facing the correct way. The remainder of lap 1 was clean however it was not long till our first spinner. Through the s section BadOtterTV and OwenHowell36 got a little too close. Where unfortunately the Williams of BadOtterTV ended up spinning and dropping all the way to the back.
It wasn’t until lap 5 where SLR Liamm was able to make the drs count and sail past VapidCoot74 for the lead of this Grand Prix. Our front 3 have managed to detach themselves from the pack by a couple seconds leaving Liamm to face the 2 Alfa Romeos alone.
Lap 8 VapidCoot74 retakes the lead from Liamm down the long drs back straight, we’ve seen a lot of overtakes there with a few drivers alternating positions each lap. This lap also marks the point where the drivers that started on the Softs begin to pits.
Lap 9 Liamm yet again takes the lead off VapidCoot74. VapidCoot74 then decides to pit at the end of the lap and attempt the undercut. However he does come out of the pits into a little bit of traffic.
The race leaders of Liamm and I VR46 I are still out on those worn Softs on lap 11. Liamm runs a little wide and this gave VR46 the perfect opportunity to take the lead for the first time today. Meanwhile further back VapidCoot74 has managed to clear the traffic and is reducing the gap to the leaders.
At the end of lap 11 the front 2 do indeed pit. As they are leaving the pits VapidCoot74 does go flying past to retake the net lead of the Grand Prix. With the undercut he managed to create a 2 second gap to the cars behind. However it’s not done and dusted yet.
VapidCoot74 has 2 cars ahead who haven’t pitted yet in Kemence61 and SotierClock110. Two difficult drivers to get past even on old tyres. But by the start of lap 14 our 3 race leaders have managed to clear both of them. It did come at a massive cost to VapidCoot as the gap to VR46 and Liamm is not under a second.
Lap 14 and Liamm is up into second place after what seemed a very routine overtake. Some would say VR46 seemed to even let him past, is VR starting to play tactical games for the DRS. Adrian VIII is lurking a couple seconds behind in 4th place ready to capitalise if anything happens ahead.
Safety Car! Oh how that changes things. Just as the leaders are approaching the pit entry SotierClock110 unfortunately losses it at the start of sector 2, just after pitting for fresh Softs, and is out of this race. VapidCoot74 dives into the pits without hesitation, same for Liamm. Whereas VR46 seems to be in two minds but stays out to take track position.
Adrian VIII decides to follow VR46 and remain on his 5 lap old mediums. But take 2nd place on track. Every other driver, bar one Harriman, takes this opportunity to pit and put a fresh set of Softs on. Which with 12 laps remaining and a few under safety car will go to the end.
We get back underway on lap 19 leaving us a 10 lap sprint to the end. VR46 and Adrian are able to keep the fresh soft runners behind through sector 1 but it really does seem like it’s only a matter of time until the fresher tyres prove their worth. Three quarters of the way around the lap both VapidCoot74 and Liamm have managed to clear Adrian.
OwenHowell36 then sends a overtake around the outside of the penultimate corner on Adrian. On the corner exit Adrian’s rear end kicks out which is not only disastrous for himself but LSW L3G3ND44 who unfortunately hits the spinning Mercedes. While all of this is happening there is contact between AdaaamLeee x and CSCMorris through the sweeping right hander. Contact that sees the Ferrari driver in the wall and out of this race.
And just like that VapidCoot74 glides past his teammate and back into the lead of this race. It only took him 2 laps after the safety car restart. More importantly for VapidCoot74, Liamm was unable to follow him through which means he will lose time to Coot who now has clean air and the opportunity to build his lead.
Lap 21, DRS is enabled and Liamm manages to move up into 2nd place with a move into turn 1. VR46 is seemingly given very little road and has to take to the run off at turn 1 which means OwenHowell36 also manages to sneak on through into 3rd place. The decision to stick on those mediums is costing VR46 massively now.
Down the back straight, still on lap 21, OwenHowell is able to utilise DRS and produce a fairly simple overtake on Liamm and for the first time today move into 2nd place. Only a couple seconds back MasonGammon05 is able to get past VR, who within a lap and a half has gone from 1st to 5th.
Contact! VR46 and bl3in have a coming together which results in the reserve driver, on debut, bl3in unfortunately facing the wrong way. VR46 doesn’t seem to lose anything as such to begin with but come the end of lap 23 he pits so obviously sustained damage. Could this incident prove huge in the championship battle? VR drops out of the points.
With 5 laps to go less than a second separates our top 3 drivers of VapidCoot74, SLR Liamm and OwenHowell36. It’s going to be a battle till the end that is for sure.
The final lap. After things calming down at the front for the previous 4 laps it all comes down to this. VapidCoot74 still has P1, SLR Liamm in P2 and OwenHowell36 P3. All still within a second of one another. Have Liamm and OwenHowell done the right thing in biding their time to overtake VapidCoot74.
Sector 1 there is no change to the order so onto the back straight we go. Liamm is half a second behind VapidCoot and OwenHowell is half a second behind Liamm. Could we see them going three wide into turn 12?
Liamm is able to make the move into the lead of the race! He went around the outside into turn 12 and was able to make it look so simple in the end. OwenHowell isn’t able to follow through now only has sector 3 to attempt something ambitious if he wants second place.
SLR Liamm crossed the line first to take his maiden victory in SLR! What a brilliant moment for the McLaren driver. A worthy winner after that drive. VapidCoot74 comes home in second place to score a huge amount of points in his chase of the Championship. OwenHowell36 completes the podium and will this result prove a swing of his bad luck this season?
What a race! Join us next week where we will be heading to Brazil for what I am sure will be another unbelievable race.

Division 3
In division 3 this week a frantic Q2 where the fight to get into Q3 meant one second you were going through but as everyone started putting times in it seemed the later you set your lap the better.
In Q3 it was GoldenEggFryer who took pole convincing with a storming time from reserve drive Haze who joined him on the front row. The two title contenders were in behind split by Alpeh.
To the race then and a couple of collisions towards the back of the field meant there was a few changes in the order down the field but out front Charlie got passed haze on the start.
Few laps into the race and Charlie and haze kept swapping positions with drs assistance. This was helping GoldenEggFryer build a great gap out front.
The pit window opens and SLR Jack went for an early undercut. He jumped Charlie but wasn’t quite enough to get out in front of haze, well the gap to GoldenEggFryer remained the same. As these drivers looked to use there fresher tyres to get passed the medium tyre starters.
Gregers and SLR Leah were the leading cars who remained out on mediums, looking to make to take them a few more laps to pit for softs.
SLR Charlie slowly but surely caught up to championship rival Jack and got the move done on lap 14. Haze also caught Leah a few laps later with much fresher tyres made the move with drs on the back straight to take P2. And halo got passed fatted on the same lap and same area for P6 on track.
Leah and gregers now on fresh softs to the end looked to make up places having now pit. Leah got passed active jmc and then fat ted a couple laps later.
Meanwhile GoldenEggFryer decided to make a second stop from the lead and go in to softs leaving haze out front.
GoldenEggFryer though quickly made up a place on Leah who had to start saving fuel. Egg fryer wasn’t concerned about@that and set off after Jack and Charlie.
The clouds gathered and drops of rain were seen. As we entered the final laps. GoldenEggFryer pushing to reclaim P1 but ran out of laps as it would be reserve driver RRT Just Haze who picked up the victory! Well done to her! GoldenEggFryer did manage to pull a 3 second gap to Charlie and picked up 2nd place. Charlie on the podium and gained a small amount on championship leader Jack in 4th. SLR Leah 5th. GregersUK 6th. Halo P7, fat ted P8, active jmc P9, SLR scopezzz in P10 and final point.

USA Division 4 season 8
as the lights go out in Austin Texas, the American Grand prix starts up.
an incident in occured with Beethoven flying off wide in the turn 1 hairpin, but the race leaders continued through the winding sector 1. Bigbag took the lead after an amazing start and quite a large part of the middle of the grid shuffled about with Cxmzn gaining 8 positions upto 10th.
marsh loses hi rear end in sector 3 of the first lap with only 2 corners left to go, he flies into the barrier and is unable to continue the race triggering a VSC.
after the lap 1 carnage 4 cars head to the pits Stevobrick, Hicklin, St2oH, and Beethoven, not the best of starts for these drivers.
Cxmzn continues his amazing push in lap 2 upto P7 taking maxwell into the second hairpin with a switchback.
Lap 3 russel is hit by the Spinning car of Floersch in sector 1. and czmxn spins losing his amazing start.
Floersch retires in the pits a lap down and popcornjoe spins on the final corner lap 6. a safety car is triggered and warhead gets a drive through penalty. with the soft runners going in warhead gets upto p2 soon ot be lost having to serve the penalty.
as the safety car goes in in lap 9 warhead dives in after changing to softs rather than serving the DT, forcing him to pit again.
UnrealSalmon makes a dive on Timole lap 12 and takes P4 as DRS gets re enabled. BigBag spins and gets back on track losing 10 positions just gripping onto the points.
at the halfway point lap 14 of 28 Unreal salmon stays first with over a second ahead of Pazuzu in 2nd, Cxmzxn is back up in P6 and Warhead is at the back in 14th.
Lap 19 warhead pits onto his last softs and unrealSalmon our top driver Pits coming back out in p5, Darkstorm also pits and drops to 10th.
BigBag works his way upto 4th place and has a wobble losing it to Unrealsalmon in lap 21.
lap 23 a second safety car is called as stevo spins and hicklin crashes into him this will bunch up all the drivers and give those at the back a chance at redemption. The AI pitted for Bigbag onto old mediums as Pazuzu pits for fresh softs, both now dropping ot 8th and 9th.
Stevobrick crashes on the last corner on the penultimate lap as the remaining 11 cars go for the last lap. SmitHPDan makes it past Timole on the straight for 1st and maxwell makes it past beethoven
moving to 6th. as the drivers cross the line the penalties get applied leaving the winner of the Austin GP UnrealSalmon.
